I bought a Scottsdale exactly like that brand new in 85 brings back memories but that's not the right grill or steering wheel still a beautiful truck
That's a clean looking truck. I love the 1989-91 Suburban, K5 grill that's on it. What I kinda wish Chevy would've done is run the squarebody pickups with this grill to 1991. Then they could've changed body styles, and rolled out the 1988 truck style as the 1992 style, and run that style until 2002.
They actually did it but in Mexico, square bodys till 91 with this grill. They call it Chevrolet Cheyenne.

Like my dad said 85 scottsdale chevy my sold it when he passed away in 90s I miss old chevy it had 350 v8 4x4 no power windows or locks it was 4x4 v8 auto and had red pin stripe it was clean

My dads old truck did not have radio but air conditioning and 350 v8 4x4 i put pioneer radio in it 6x9 speakers in rear seat put new antenna in front on hood

You can definitely swap it in the square body. A lot of people do Ls swaps in those square body chevys
