    Great stuff and content Ilyas, especially how to be concise and brief with C level presentations which is something I used to miss. Keep it up and please get us part two 😊

    Hey im switching to either as a cloud architect or solutions architect through the early careers program even though i have limited cloud knowledge atm..(hopefully i can get in). What are the main difference between the roles? Which one is more client facing? My goal is to be able to create value and impact for clients

    • @WinTheCloud
      @WinTheCloud  2 года назад +1

      This article summers the difference best: dev.to/imben1109/what-is-difference-among-enterprise-architect-solution-architect-software-architect-and-cloud-architect-5boo#:~:text=Solution%20Architects%20are%20responsible%20for,storage%20components%20of%20Cloud%20Services.
      Solutions Architect is more client facing for sure.
      Best of luck!

      @@WinTheCloud thanks for the reply! Do you have any tips on how to know which role is more suited for individuals?

    Great video man. I'm almost done with my degree and I'm quite a capable engineer for someone started coding 2.5 years ago (done 3+ SWE internships). What do you think about trying out the Associate SA at AWS straight after graduation? Or would you recommend it's better if I do a few years of development before jumping onto SA?
    I quite like dealing with both people and technical things at the same time, so it's a hard one for me 😅

      @WinTheCloud  2 года назад +3

      As much as I want to say Go for it, I humbly believe a successful SA is someone who can look into his past experiences for lessons and guidance: the more experience you have the better you will be. Especially experiences with high traffic, high impact solutions

    Hi ilyas, greetings from Morocco, just want to ask if working in cloud needs prior experience working in IT

    • @WinTheCloud
      @WinTheCloud  2 года назад +1

      Hi Aya, hope everything is well ^^
      I would say that experience in IT is required is you're after an engineering cloud role, but the cloud offers a lot of roles that require no prior experience in IT as well, make sure to check what companies like AWS, Google, Microsoft, Facebook offer on their Linkedin
