    Super video, thanks for telling the wrench sizes needed, no one else does that. You just saved me about half the time by showing how to take out the air box cover.

    This worked great on my 2017 KIA Soul + and telling us the wrench size and to take out the filter shroud to have easy access was key. Took me 3-5 minutes. Thank you for sharing your auto knowledge!

    Super video, thanks so very much, took me like 30 min bc I had to sort through all the tools my late hubbie left me to get the right one, yet I did it, and I am super proud of myself that I did it again like 4 years ago, now as a 74 y/o active widow!! WOOHOO Widow Power WOOHOOO! Wherever I go with my gray hair for tech stuff, I immediately hear the aweful "CHA-CHING" sound, because those young whipper snippers think that I need their help, no thank you, not me!! RUclips and Me get all jobs done!!! Thanks so very much, I appreciate you! 😍🤓

    So the oem battery is a AGM, so would that ever start one, which I’m assuming isn’t, be ok to use?

    • @thesqaanalyst
      @thesqaanalyst 2 года назад

      I read that because of the electronics and stop and start feature on some Souls, the AGM would be a recommended battery type.

    • @snickerdoooodle
      @snickerdoooodle Год назад

      If your Soul doesn't have Idle Stop and Go, AGM isn't totally needed, but I wouldn't recommend the EverStart Walmart battery brand either just because their life expectancy isn't worth the trouble.

    What is the best battery for kia soul 2016?

    • @xScrapMetalGaming420
      @xScrapMetalGaming420 9 месяцев назад

      Don't get the ever start from Walmart like this guy did. Those batteries are terrible. I'd go with diehard or dura last from auto zone or advanced auto. They call those "never starts" because they're very unreliable. I had one for 6 months in my truck and the thing was shot. Always dies and had to get Jump start and it won't hold a charge after a few months. Get a good battery for the 200$ instead of the cheap one. I promise you'll get stranded

  • @danielcody7568
    @danielcody7568 2 года назад

    The problem with mine is the cable for the positive terminal is far too short to put on if you seat the battery first, it just can’t reach. It must be attached before seating the battery, but then it’s really hard to seat the battery so that the front clip gets over the lip to bolt it down. Horrible design flaw.
