I am so very glad that you left these video's for people to enjoy watching alot of these video's I watch over and over So i just wanted to say thank you
Boy does this bring back memories of the 70s, pops rocked the stock for 14 year's.....I walked a few times in the Barn, behind the grown folks loading up! Thank you for posting brother, ride'em easy!🤙🤙🤙
I wasn’t raised on a farm at all but my parents were, down in Mexico and I’ve always had interests on living or working in a farm but I live near the city of Chicago so that’s nearly impossible and cattle haulers interest me a lot and I just got my class A and I’m 19 trying to get into this type of work
Check in with livestock auctions and livestock hauling companies about possible opportunities in your area. It may be tough only being 19 to drive for one of these places. If you're only 19 I'm assuming you have a Intrastate license only
Thank you. Just keep in mind livestock hauling isn't for everybody and can get very dangerous especially loading by yourself like I used to. That being said I would suggest finding livestock haulers, packing plants and/or sale barns near you about openings to haul for them. The area you live may affect this but hope you can find a lead. Be safe
Hello you decided to come back and haul cattle again. Welcome back miss your videos it’s good to see your videos. How is your wife doing with the therapy with children seen most of them she is really good at it. You can tell what state your in but not locations where you pickup? Remember to keep gate in front of you at all times never know about them.Climb the rails to keep from getting stump on or going to gate.
I'm still not hauling cattle. You may have watched an earlier video before I quit but last video posted is Done Hauling Cattle. Wife is doing good and program as well. Thanks for asking
@@CattleHauling50 just checking in couldn’t believe you would quit your other job and come back to hauling cattle . I’m very glad to hear that your wife’s program is awesome and the smiles from all her children it’s amazing. And ,I think you was in some of her videos. You and your wife rock with her helpers on the program going season wise it’s perfect . Tell her ,I said hello for me and , I watch her programs awesome .
Yes I have help at some barns but sometimes if I go early morning or evening no one is there so I just load myself. Thank you and glad you enjoy the channel
What happened to strawing or sawdusting the deck before loading? Cause when they piss and shit on the floor, the deck gets slick and one slips and gets down, they'll be trampled to death. Do drivers not cover the deck now? I grew up in the 50s and 60s and that's how it was done. Stockyards kept sawdust piles for this reason. What's different these days?
They usually put down saw dust or a bedding for pigs, sheep, smaller livestock, etc. I only hauled kill cows so no need for that. I drained trailer out daily after each unload and washed it out clean every Friday
You caught my mistake. Good catch. I unpinned the top center gate to cut the 17 but later decided to just run the 17 straight up but I didn't repin the gate. On the way to the plant the gate closed in transit

Ill keep driving my Dump truck, Thank you!
Probably a good choice. Merry Christmas
It was nice to see your wife came with you 👍
@@sandyalexander7156 yes it's nice when she goes
Driver you sure are earning your paycheck.
It was definitely a work out
@@CattleHauling50 that's a dangerous job you have.
@billyangelapressley Yes it can be especially loading alone.
@@CattleHauling50 that cattle trailer is awesome to watch when you move all the doors around and load them cattle
@billyangelapressley It's set up nice to haul the big cattle and bulls. I didn't haul the small livestock so didn't need the extra compartments
😮💨😮💨 my papa that one 😂

@@CattleHauling50 yea it’s hard to even get a job out here at 19 thank you for the advice I really appreciate it
Enjoyed the video. How does someone get into hauling? Ive been driving for almost 3 years. Reefer and dryvan. Always wanted to try it out. Any advice?

Hey hey Lonestar nice to see you.
Thanks Caleb
Your show is one of the only ones I kinda want to be on. Looks scary at moments.
It gets hairy at times. Just gotta stay on guard
Ohhh the memories.
😁👍
That’s video is only to open and close doors
Nice content, enjoy your videos. Don’t you ever get any help loading? Safe travel and be safe

You hit the nose of the cow with the fence😢
It happens sometimes
Enjoy your content please consider some driven or backing or fuel stop checking your load kinda stuff
I try to stick to the cattle loading but I do have a video posted driving through the NC TN mountains if you want to check it out
Is that an old sales barn? I used to go to one in Gallpolis, Ohio, it was very old and has been torn down, I think.
Most of the barns I used to go to are somewhat old
Cool

You need to clean your truck lol
I got tired watching this! I hauled livestock for 28 yrs
It can take a toll on you after a while
I noticed that you had applied something black and shiny to your trailer floor, is that some kind of an anti-slip coating for the cows? 🤠
Yes they make it themselves 😄
@@CattleHauling50 Really, it was manure? I noticed you could see your dusty footprints on it when you first went in, thats what threw me. 🤦♂️🤣🤠
@@johnwayne6725 Yup all manure
No hygiene cleaning before loading. Tut tut.😮
Tell us the name of the stock yards!
I don't mention any locations due to some people wanting to cause trouble
😮💨😪 😴 Exhausting!

When did you gate on top
I don't think I did on that one but don't remember for sure
@@CattleHauling50 when you load 17 heads on top you didn’t gate them why unloading you get them.

You must take thousands of steps when loading the truck.
😄 I'm sure the step count is up there
