naah, they're good alright but they're also the band who made 100 slightly revamped versions of sonic's rendezvous city slang and called them their own songs.

One of my favorite bands. Cool seeing this with Dregen and Sam Yaffa on bass. I would have killed to have been at this show. I'm lucky enough to have seen them twice, I'd love to see them again.

This has to be as good as any performance they have done, and the best sound mix on youtube... Not a single thing half assed, Nicke looks ferocious in you are nothin', you can see him trying to contain his rock n roll energy.

Swedish Rock band from the 90s and early 2000s. They broke up for a while (can only tour the US playing shitty clubs and going home broke so often) and now they've reformed to play a few big festivals every year. Check out the other bands affiliated with the members of this band: Imperial State Electric, Lucifer, and Backyard Babies.
@@mlwsf And that makes them not a f~ng great r&r band or? I don't get the comment, but thats maybe just me... Greatness not always messured in commersial success in my book, for instance, I prefere Robyn before Madonna(not that I listen to either unless on radio or such, but just as an example).

I love these guys! Been a fan for many years. Glad they got back together (albeit with some replacements)... I thank the Swedes for keeping Rock N Roll alive! These fellas know how to kick out high energy material with great vibes... and the live show matches the energy of the music!

Everybody misses them, but Sami played great and Dregen really stretches himself! Brilliant stuff.
I wouldn't have done anything different. Dregen and Sami are the optimal replacements. Both great showmen and musicians.

One of the best rock'n'roll bands ever. So glad that they're back, I sure hope that they'll stick with us for a long time... And release a new album maybe? It'd be great if I could catch 'em live somewhere again... Anyway, tnx for the upload - It's a hell of a gig!👍🏻

I was already a huge fan when I finally saw the HELLACOPTERS in San Francisco some 20 years ago. The best Rock n Roll band in the world. I visited many record stores in Tokyo to assemble a full collection of their CD singles, EPs, and albums. Also, WOLVERINE BLUES is a Desert Island Disc.
Just the greatest band on the planet. Was lucky enough to see them twice in LA and seriously hoping to see this line-up tour the world once more.

Because of Sami & Steve Conte I went to a small Toronto Club Michael Monroe , not a fan but They were fantastic , Steve Conte & Dregen together playing some Stooges and The Damned ? Can’t go wrong Obviously

As much as they are one of my favourite bands, I mean they really are up there in my personal choices, and the older stuff comes back to life again with Dregen back on guitar... I have to say that it kinda sucks not seing Strings up there... Maybe he would've been in a different place had he been alive, and maybe moved on from the Hellacopters into whatever he would've been doing today... but it would be the bomb to see him play again...!

It all started in 1964 for me (when I was just 12 years old) with The Rolling Stones' first single & album... Been on a rock & roll high ever since!...
P.S. N I can remember getting change back from the $5 bill I used to pay for The Rolling Stones: Not Fade Away b/w I Wanna Be Your Man single with picture sleeve & England's Newest Hit Makers album at our local Woolworth's Store, in 1964... lol

Miles i haven't negativley criticized Dregen. I love the two first Hellacopters albums -- but since Strängen passed away this year and so much attention have been put on The Copters this summer; i can't stop thinking about him. I have met him a couple of times and that makes his abscene evident. He was a big part of the Swedish rock scene.
Carl Isaksson I wasn't being a dick first off. Second off just be happy the band still lives. I saw them in 97 in San Francisco and a few times more after that. This was the 5th show for me in Oslo. Don't worry, you aren't the only one who loves the Hellacopters. Just saying this show was fucking epic. Don't get your panties twisted.
