I did quite a bit of research & watched at least a dozen videos on cases available for the Pixel 9 Pro XL. I finally picked my top 3 choices out of 12-14 cases and ordered them to see which one would work best for me. I chose the Ringke Onyx over the other two for the screen & camera lens protection, rigidity around the front, and most importantly the grip on the sides. The value, build quality, & protection makes it a best buy in my opinion. Great review!
@@paulflogeras2309 I'll try to reply again for the 3rd time. I looked at an OE Google case and a UAG Scout and a couple other brands I'd never heard of. When I got home I regrouped & ordered a Torras non mag case, a Crave Dual non mag case & the Rinke non mag. The Torras and the Crave Dual were too slick in my large hands. I really liked the Crave Dual for it's double case for protection, but the slick body & the huge gap around the camera lens made them a no go for me. The Rinke with it's good grip and raised edges front & rear seemed to give better protection & at a great price.
I used the official pixel case on my porcelain 9 pro. It's extremely slippery and it was making my hands tired because there isn't enough grip. Looks good but it's thick and slippery.
Hi @animesh_jain, I don't suppose you previously owned the official pixel 8 case? I loved the grip on the official Pixel 8 case, but I have read in a couple of places that the Pixel 9 case is not the same material and not as grippy? Thanks
@@UmerNalla I haven't used one for pixel 8 so can't comment on the comparison but this one is slippery. I am using Spigen one which doesn't look as great but I can use my phone as it doesn't slip around.

Like the video. I'm using a Spigen Ultra Hybrid in clear, that I love! Speaking of love... How about a link to that wallpaper that you're using?
It technically charges but magsafe ring is not located on the coil, it will charge insanely slow and will get really hot

It’s a great case. Thanks for watching 🤝
Can I ask what other cases you chose from. Ringke Onyx is on my short list as well but I am also looking at the Torras Guardian.
What other cases were you considering?

Why didn't you pick the magnetic rigken case?
Amazon has Rinke Onyx magsafe and non-magsafe options. Which did you buy? I think the magsafe ones have a metal ring inside the case material.
I'm currently trying the mous case, so far so good.
which one? I'm looking for a case too, and I seeing the mous super thin case in black....
I like the ringke case
Is the back of the original case plastic or also silicone?
If you had to choose between the Ringke and Spigen...which would you choose and why?
Ringke. Camera cutout protection.
Oh my god i got this three case for my pixel pro XL 9
great video !
Thank you 🤝

It takes a few days of using it to develop a really nice grip.
@@jaywright9635that's lame 😅
I want the grip like the iPhone silicone cases. Anyone know a brand?
