I have a few friends who have gotten spiritual and helped me see the difference, but whom have also gone too far and started to embrace the shadow side of their newfound perspective. I do a week ahead tarot story with a preface containing a card representing my state of being at the start of the week & a card for the end of the week. I also choose a kind of oracle card for each - this time from a deck of vocabulary words with the definitions on the back. For my end of the week state of being, I got the page of wands but my oracle card was “Maudlin”, which indicated to me that my Page was reversed. I’ve been researching and not really found an interpretation for the page of wands reversed that sounds like a maudlin state of being so much. I’m curious what your take on it would be 🙏
Maudlin is a rare word that I relate to being a little emotionally silly. how this mixes with that childlike enthusiasm of the Page is up to you to decide. Does being awestruck at something send you into giggles? for example.
It might be a tendency to being conned - allowing our imagination to veil the reality of the situation. This is my card for the day. I have a tendency to be rash - like signing up for things without reading the small print. Or lacking confidence to assert skills and knowledge - one is no longer a student. Quilty of both. I had a second card fall which was the 9 of swords reversed.
