    hello
    what do the stem cells do to scar tissue that's new
    does the body consider the scar tissue as ' healed ' or does it replace and break up fibrous scar tissue?
    secondly a lot of clinics are using ESWT shock wave therapy to break up the scar tissue at the same time as injecting the stem cells .
    I imagine the shock waves don't do any damage to the stem cells ? and after the treatment the stem cells get to work repairing?

    Thank you for the video. But how do you know that the stem cells isolated from hip joints will differentiate into knee cartilage and not into some other types of cells??? Is there any pretreatment required on isolated stem cells to make sure that they will give rise to cartilage only lineage ????

    • @Regenomics
      @Regenomics  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your question. (Let me clarify that there are more cells than just stem cells and that the "stem cells" are not isolated from the hip joint, but either bone marrow or fat. The stem cells work in many different ways: 1. Stem cells transfer their healthy mitochondria into the damaged cartilage cells; 2. Stem cells can reduce inflammation and reduce the macrophages's capacity to keep destroying healthy cartilage cells; 3. They can actually instruct the macrophages to release helpful growth factors; 4. Stem cells initiate a coordinated healing response. 5. They also secrete their exosomes which carry mRNA which encodes for protein synthesis. All of these mechanisms lead to a more healthy joint environment including the cartilage.
      In some cases of more advanced arthritis, a pre and/or post treatment with PRP and/or Prolotherapy can prepare the area to better respond to the "stem cell" treatment. The joint releases cytokines and proteins that tell the stem cells what to do.

      I know your message is 2 years old. I blew the cartilage out of my knee in the military and had trouble for the past 30 years. I ran across Dr Eric Berg on keto, intermittent fasting and long-term fasting. Long-term fasting creates stem cells from your own body. I've been doing it for the past year and a half and my knee has never felt better. I used to walk down the stairs like an old man one leg at a time, now I'll walk down like it's nothing. Also I can kneel all the way down to the ground and stand back up with just one leg, the bad one too. I used to need help or to use something to pull myself back up. Get in and out of the back of my pickup truck also. If you got the treatment I hope it worked, let me know.

    • @Regenomics
      @Regenomics  3 года назад

      As much as they are called "stem cell" therapy, stem cells are only a small part of the cells found in the aspirate that could be either from bone marrow or fat. There are other reparative cells that help in the healing process. 2 examples are Bone Marrow-derived stem cell treatments and Lipogems (fat-derived) which are used to treat different degenerative and orthopedic conditions.

    Hi
    Amazing video thank you the question I m after
    Is how the percentage of the healing process can be after inject the stem cell
    And I know it take 1 years to have them stay in your body us that means I need to inject them again or means my problem might back again after one year because they r not there any more or means that my injury is fully heal so no need to go back again treat it ...??

    • @Regenomics
      @Regenomics  Год назад +1

      This is a difficult question to answer with a specific number. There are many variables that determine the efficacy and duration of the effects of these treatments. The first step is diagnosing the problem and then treating all of the affected areas (the joint, ligaments, tendons, etc) and not just one injection, it has to be comprehensive. On average, for joint problems due to arthritis, we are seeing 3-5 years of improvement and pain relief.

    I am so very disappointed, pissed off and hurt really, because I have been lied to in my face twice now, when I asked 2 doctors about stem cell therapy and my severe degenerative disc disease in my neck and back... Along with arthritis in my spine and all of the other good stuff that comes along with it, including major nerve damage and neuropathy and stenosis and herniated discs almost severing one of my nerves, etc...EVERYTHING!!!!! I have suffered from this for almost 30 years!!! I really want to list the doctors names but where would that get me???? It's a shame really, that a patient, me, specifically asks a doctor for very specific treatment options by name, and I get lied to!!! That's not cool at all!! And I knew something was wrong when I saw a veterinarian giving a dog stem cell therapy in his knee or hip for arthritis, but yet me, a human being, can't even get the necessary information needed to make the best decisions for my own treatment to try and get the best outcome as possible, especially after suffering for so long!!Is there an ethical law against that, or something, some form of punishment for not telling your patient the correct information needed to help heal them or at least to make the situation as less painful as possible???? I really want to know!!!! And STANFORD WAS ONE OF THE FACILITIES I WENT TO AND SPECIFICALLY AND ON PURPOSE I ASKED FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEIR STEM CELL RESEARCH AND NEUROLOGY DOCTOR, THINKING HE WOULD BE HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE, AND INSTEAD I WAS BLATANTLY LIED TO!!!!! I have a few questions though.
    How do we controle that the stem cells once delivered in the body, they don't become other kind of tissue that we don't want? How will they know where and how exactly the reparation should happen? Is there any way to control them? or Anyway to prepare the environment (the join or place in the body) where the stem cells are gonna be delivered? What about moving the damaged part in order to make it bleed inside and that way make it a better environment for the stem cells to do their job?

    • @Regenomics
      @Regenomics  6 лет назад +2

      Hi Manuel. The stem cells will get signals from the injured area that will let them know what to heal. The same way when you get a minor skin injury your body know what to heal without you having to give any specific commands, the same thing happens when these cells are re-inserted into the injured area. I hope this answers your question.

    • @manuelacosta8617
      @manuelacosta8617 6 лет назад

      I'm saying because that's a very crucial. In a very well know case in the United States, a woman got stem cells in her face and later on some of those became bone and doctors had to remove the bones of her face.

    • @Regenomics
      @Regenomics  6 лет назад

      Manuel, I would be curious about what type of stem cells they injected. Embryonic stem cells are primitive stem cells and turn into any type of cells. But this is not the case with the type of stem cells used in the clinics, which are adult or umbilical cord stem cells.

    • @manuelacosta8617
      @manuelacosta8617 6 лет назад

      They use adult stem cells for clinical regenerative treatments. The ones that are apparently booking a lot of progress on that is www.regenexx.com/
      They have published a lot of papers on stem cells research and their protocols are kind of very mature. The ones they normally get from the bone marrow is the mesenchymal stem cells which can become, bone, articular cartilage, and this kind of tissues.
      I think I'm gonna do this treatment in Colombia soon for y knees.

    • @Regenomics
      @Regenomics  4 года назад +1

      If there is still a sheath connecting the ACL then it could help, but if it is completely torn including the sheath surrounding the ACL, then it needs surgery. Now, in addition to the ACL usually other ligaments and tendons are injured and treating those can help provide knee stability. Of course, it depends on age, activity level and knee stability on physical exam among a few other factors.

    Why does the HUMAN Body (NOT) re-direct these STEM CELLS from Abdomen and Buttox fat to areas of the Human Body that require repair??? Humm? INTERESTING "TELOMERES" Telomeres get shorter each time a cell copies itself, but the important DNA stays intact. Eventually, telomeres get too short to do their job, causing our cells to age and stop functioning properly. Therefore, telomeres act as the aging clock in every cell.

      I believe it was $50,000 from what I was told at a seminar on it, but if it works, then it is worth it. We are very privledged to have athletes who do have the money to 'try it out' so we know it does work. There are many successes through using it, but I do not know how many if any that it has not worked on. That would be helpful info for someone who does not have the money to do it before getting a loan.

      Water, heat, snow, time, wind, rain, fire, ice, vibration (depending on where you live - I once live off a train station), etc. Materials don't last forever that's why driveways, roofs, windows, doors, siding, ect. need replacing after time.....
