Elvis grew up on Orville Beans farm, his parents were share croppers. That's who his dad sold the hog to and let his brothers copy the signature and went to Prison for it. Here is video of the farm the birth house originally sat on. He started out the Summer going to diners and eating like everyone else, by August he was being mobbed THREE BLOCKS DEEP with girls. He started touring all over the South full-time 1953-54. Best book you will EVER READ 'In the Twilight of Memory'. It's about him & June Juanico falling in love the Summer of 1956. He bought Graceland for her. It's one of the greatest love stories ever told.
He also took control of a car that lost its brakes while filming Kissin' Cousins. His costar Arthur O'Connell was a passenger and went on record remarking how good a driver Elvis was.
Elvis had a lot of skills he drove a truck worked on the docks loading trucks delivering products he was no stranger to hard work like a lot of folks tought.
I still have a couple cherished Polaroid Snapshots of Elvis sitting on his horse at Graceland from back in the 60's. I couldn't even imagine the number of photos and videos that would be taken if iPhones were available to everyone back then! Lol 😎🌬💜🕊

WOW! I never knew such footage existed. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised though. Elvis was one of the Most photographed persons in history,, so I imagine there's still lots of stuff that we haven't seen yet . Old photos and 8 mm films that have yet to be discovered in someone's attic, cellar or garage...Who knows what else might be out there waiting to be discovered?
