It worked for me! Awesome mate! This happened even without the use of a controller. It basically messed up when I wanted to fly my drone in another country than where I bought it. So if you go to another country in Europe this will happen! You have to reset it every single time!
Im in the US and I have to reser it every single time

My screen in DJI app was different and did not have help tab but holding 9 seconds did do the trick. Very similar situation as you. all good. Thanks

Phones And Drones after 20 min of wifi struggle. It said restricted area. I payed $800 for this and can’t even fly it...

Oh man finally. I let my gf borrow my drone and then when the time came when I wanted to use it I couldn't find it on my phone's wifi. I knew about the 2 beep but the 3 beep is what fixed it finally!!

But it is often disconnected and need repairing. when the craft is in the air, if the disconnect happens, the craft will fly away?????

That is the reason why I use the otg cable instead,the wifi connection on spark can be a hassle.good video by the way

I just followed the steps and it does appear back in the WiFi, and connects... but when I go into the app on the phone, and try to take off with the actual controller, the controller doesn't do anything.. I can only take off from the app itself. I have to unpair it again from the phone to be able to fly it from the controller.. but I want to be able to do both, fly it with the controller but see where I am going with the app!

Resetting the wifi is the only way for me to connect to the spark even though im not using a controller or anything. Is there any way to connect it automatically?

Everytime I wanna fly with my Spark I have to press the Button for 9 seconds otherwise its not going to show me the Wifi from the Spark....

I have to do this every time. It recognizes the controller but I have to reset the drone Wifi all the time. Very time consuming.
Sometimes when I connect the controller then I loose the wifi signal from the drone. Help needed.

I will try this when I get home I think I’m having the opposite problem? Mine pulls up the spark but I’m having troubles connecting to the rc/remote. Idk I’m still kinda new to the spark. Would you think this would be the same process for resetting WiFi to use remote? Thanks. 👍

So you connect to the spark wifi, not the controller wifi?
When I connect to remote all I get is the humble will work with wheel and it goes up and down ?
PLEASE HELP after resetting the WiFi and connecting to the drone with my phone can you still connect the controller after flying with your phone or do you have to connect the drone with the RC again?

Hello, I had the issue your speaking about in this video and indeed fixed it that way....BUT do you know how to vise versa that?? For I cannot get my wifi of my iPhone nor iPad Pro to connect to the remote? It has connected to them both once each, BUT ONLY with the OTG NEVER have I connected the remote to wifi, AND will not now connect to Spark with wifi OR OTG cable???? If you have a fix for this that would be so freaking awesome you have no idea...I purchased it from Ebay and contacted seller he said it works then got it to only with cable I may email and ask if he changed the password of the remote if you even can do that for that is the error every time with the iOS items mentioned it says something about password not correct and it says right on the back what they ALL are 12341234 THAT DOES NOT WORK NOR scanning the QR code I can only now connect wifi to the Spark and HATE IT!!! Please help if you know how to do this!!??? Thanks and informative video I only saw the one I watched on this just saw yours as looking for my problem. Have a good one! Turbo.

Just bought a dji spark and o have never used a drone before ect I am having issues trying to pair the controller and phone ect as the controller only came with a iphone cable and I have a samsung S10 plus android could you advise please
I think you will actually need the usb-c cable in order to plug into your drone I'm sure they sell them additionally on dji's website or probably Best Buy

New to drones it is 2021 and my app doesn't have the help button . And I have held the button for more then 9 sec and nothing happens. Olp advice .
My rc connects to my Spark and the rc controls the Spark but I cannot connect to iPad mini. I tried scanning QR and even to the point to JOIN but it never makes that last step 4 that connects and lets me see camera view. Mini stays disconnected. I tried going straight to camera view. Screen stays blank. Help.
Holding for 9secs did not do the trick for me, someone crashed my drone a couple days ago without telling me so I had to change the propellers and everything and this one coil was misaligned and now the drones acting up...

I have the Spark and cannot connect. I tried your example but on my screen there is no "need help" anywhere on the screen. Spent hours trying to get this Spark in the air with no luck, only frustration.

I had the same problem. I followed your steps but then lost the connection on my remote. I am still not able to fly my Spark with the controller while watching the video on my phone. Very frustrating

After everything is turned off and I'm trying to reconnect again I'm running into the same problem, remote wifi appear while spark wifi doesn't, so it's very annoying to go threw it every time. So how can I solve that?

I followed your instructions, and still cant get it fixed. I bought my spark with the rc and was never linked so I just started using it with my phone...Now, I cant connect the rc to the spark, I can't even get the rc to light up the linking ...so fruetrated...>!!!!!

Did you mean stuck or did you really mean suck at? LOL i fixed it i had to re-download the app and connect everything again. it was annoying but its resolved now. THe QR code thing didnt work for me. always giving me errors.

Hi, im having the same issue, drone and RC are paired, phone connects to RC wifi, but the app just won´t give me the go fly button. I already reset the RC and drone wifi, and deleted and reloaded the app. Nothing works

Only with great difficulty can I get a constant green light on my controller. Each time I then attempt to connect the phone, so that I can use the otg cable, it will disconnect the controller. Getting them both connected at the same time is, I guess, impossible.
I push and hold my battery button for 9 seconds while the spark is turned on and i don’t hear any beeps, why is that?
After 2 days, and several emails with dji, still can't link the wifi to the rc.
The rc is linked to the spark.
The rc wifi shows up on my android phone,
Any suggestions? Dji can't figure it out.

On my spark the WiFi between remote and phone is literally in usable. Video disconnect every 5 sec and when it is connected it’s too laggy and choppy to do anything even when the drone is close, I have to use otg cable; take not I use iPhone 8 Plus. Is that normal?
