Well if it makes you feel alone I can't really either and I'm self taught since idk kindergarten and I'm in 7th grade so that's about eight years.Short summaryfor ya I'm so PATHETIC .
Just try making circle-y sketch and when your done erase stray marks that make your circle look bumpy until you got a perfect circle

i know you already have a tutorial for hands, but I really struggle with drawing hands when it comes to doing full bodies because they are so small and I can never make them proportionate or get them to look like the ones in my reference picture. Your tutorials always help me! so if one day you could do a tutorial on drawing hands when they are small/in full body portraits id be very grateful :) love your tutorials.

Vianna Della, I use a mechanical pencil for my drawings and it's more or less the same. Note that I 1) Have no Col-Erase type of pencils for sketching 2) Have almost 7 years of drawing experience. 3) Am self-taught Using a mechanical pencil was basically the same thing with me, but if it helps you then that's fine. I need to buy Col-Erase pencils for an enhancement with my art. Yes, I know better stuff won't make me a better artist. Why do you think I came to a tutorial then?

The funny thing is that as a guy, even though I can draw both, I actually have more of a predilection of drawing the female anatomy than the male anatomy.

Thx I'm getting a sketch pad and Color pencils cause of you I really love inspiration most of the time I draw real people in manga style on loose paper I'm getting the sketch book later because it's winter break so I'm exited and I'm learning to shade with the color pencils. How do you draw smaller type drawings? I can only draw medium to large drawings and whenever I try to draw smaller things it doesn't turn out right....

Now, I'll still have to look at some others just to compare notes and figure out what way works best for me, but with your outline technique, I can see the beginnings of the anatomy that everyone talks about. I also have a much better idea on how I can draw people of various body shapes. Thanks a ton! I do keep messing up on arms though. Is there a specific reason that some artists sketch in blue pencil? I was just wondering because I see it a lot and I'd like to know if it's something I should do. Thanks for the great tutorial btw really helpful😋

Also because for some people who have to reprint their work, the blue won’t show up in print
there are some good replies here.... they make sense... but I think it's possible that they may be using it just because normal pencil doesn't show up on camera/ video AT ALL!!!!
