A stunning property with wow factor for sure, just does seem like a hotel rather than a home (perhaps due to personal experience, I have been in fancy hotels but not fancy homes like this).
Hmm, I sort of "want to" like it. Maybe I am being finicky. But it looks more builder led, than architect led. I struggle to understand some of the styling. Just my view but each to their own. Of course a fantastic property and someone will be a very happy owner. 22k sq ft is gigantic. Some VERY lavish fittings. EDIT: I suppose it's just the Neo-classical styling.
@@megalomaniac4u Yeah I mean much of it is absolutely fantastic. I suppose these are bespoke homes. And by definition we all have different tastes on certain aspects.
I absolutely despise these soulless houses that look and feel like empty shopping malls. Saint George’s hill is now full of these ugly McMansions which are all basically slight variations of the same design - it’s all the same house and it’s soulless crap - give me an actual house with character and flaws over this soulless nightmare ANYDAY Knockdara? Knockdowner ((!)
I understand that perspective but I kind of like it honestly. I don’t think this really fits the standard definition of McMansion either. But each to their own.
I fitted a commercial gas meter on the estate about a year ago on a new build still under construction The house was enormous and the site manager said the budget for the build excluding furniture was over 25 million. The owner a woman in her 60s was apparently spending her divorce settlement money. The estate has a 24 hour security team and gatehouse with security barriers you just can't drive into the place without permission. Its like entering a different planet.
Very posh estate worked there many times, had one refurbished so owners daughters had somewhere while at uni lol, makes ya sick the money these people have and yet people striving and cold
Great voice for this work. His vocal melody has been mastered along with the intonation and emphasis on the correct word rhythm points.
As always with these vast homes the biggest challenge is to make it feel warm and not like a cold museum.
Right. Feels a little too much like a hotel.
The owners are more that capable to warm these homes 😂 don’t be so jealous ! Live your life
@@matt_v2305I think it’s great personally
You always present the house so well. This is indeed…a special home 😊

It gives me art-deco vibes. Considering it was designed 16 years ago, it hasn't aged badly.

Can't blame successful people for the failings of others
