    Car looks great, she looks great, she has my favorite accent. I love how the W and V sounds get mixed up while forcing me to convert to metric. Also mad respect for properly pronouncing "Porsche." -- American guy.

    does it prevent accident from happening by stopping the car rapidly? for example someone drives ahead into your lane all the sudden or pedestrain runs into your way suddenly?

    Is it possible to disable the adaptive part so that it becomes regular cruise control?

    When you press UP on the lever to increase or decrease distance of the car in front of you……..
    Does pushing UP move you closer to the car in front of you, or does it increase the distance?
    I would think it moves you closer, but it didn’t sound like it.

    I had been thinking about buying a legendary Porsche, but the cruise controls' absurdity changed my mind. I use cruise controls frequently, both on highways and on city streets. I will not buy a Porsche until you guys simplify the cruise controls to "+" "-" buttons on the steering wheel. And for all the talk in the video, there is no mention of what speeds the cruise controls will operate at. There are school zones I drive through, as well as suburban streets. Mercedes isn't perfect, but at least they put the controls on the steering wheel. You guys at Porsche are losing your preeminence under "new management philosophy" or whatever. Simple, on the wheel.

    weird bc in the polestar it's just one push of a button on the wheel; also a brief press up/down will +/- 5 mph, long press for increments of 1. the system demonstrated seems too complicated, why bring menus into it? also the cc on a stalk is an outdated German trope get rid of it already - tesla doesn't even have stalks at all nevermind extra ones

    Why does this look like a Taycan Coupe? Am I going crazy or what? 😂

    • @911Turbo24
      @911Turbo24 2 года назад

      This is a Taycan turbo Sedan, it’s sporty and sleek, yet elegant design takes inspiration from the iconic 911 and it’s signature roofline or “flyline” as most porsche enthusiasts call it.

    What a messy and complicated system. It should be on the steering wheel.

    • @davesmith5656

      Precisely. "To compute the correct distance on your infotainment system, simply input your current speed estimated braking distance given road conditions on a 1 to 10 scale, the speed of the car in front of you, its estimated braking distance paging down through the selections of makes and models and years displayed on the screen given road conditions from 1 to 10, then input your current insurance premiums divided by your credit score and multiply by your collision avoidance factor from 1 to 10, take the result on the display and move the lever the number of times indicated from 1 to 100 while pushing the button on the end of the stalk." There: simplicity.NOTE: motorcycles have very short braking distances.

    My earlier "spot on" very rational critical comment has been deleted. I will not have anything to do with Porsche from now on. When you arrogantly allow potential customers to walk out the door angrily, you are not winning anything!
