Read blue lock, it's a bat-shit fucking insane sports manga. The MC develops an egotistical and borderline psychopathic behavior and gets off on crushing his opponents hopes and ambitions. I highly recommend it, it puts its own spin on the sports manga genre which I haven't seen before.

I dunno why Madhouse decided to continue this anime after a a lot of years but I'm glad they did.
Actually madhouse only made the first season and the movie, the second and third season were made by MAPPA with little colaboration of madhouse

Nope. The POV just change quickly from ippo and his opponent to the criwd to the other characters.. That is why the ref is missing while ippo is hiiting his opponent. That is how focused or concentrated ippo is or anyone in this anime while in the ring

This anime is one of the best I ever watched. I used to not like sports animes but after I watched this It changed my mind. After I watched this I started to watch sports anime for a while. I think I saw this anime around 5-10 times... This is great, I would re-watch it with joy again

If I remember correctly Sawamura ended up with a skull fracture, an eyeball sunken in, a broken jaw and a few missing teeth. Damnit, they really made Ippo a monster in terms of punching power!

recently watched the first 76 episodes in like 3 days or something. This anime is so good. I've watched bigger animes like naruto and one piece but now, my favorite is Hajime No İppo. He became from a sad childhood, he got bullied a lot, he doesn't have a father so he started to help his mother at a really young age. He always wanted to be strong to look after his mother and he wanted to know what does it means to be strong. In only just 2 years, he became the world champion, he got confidence and self respect with boxing. He got new friends, a family.And most importantly, he never gave up, he had ups and downs but he always tried to be optimistic and he worked harder than anyone else. Im really sad that the first season is over cause everyone says that the first season is the best.By the way, i wish that 4th season will come in 2023, its amazing.

I really wish that we had the fight between Sawamura and Mashiba animated... One of the best fights of the manga.
As I say, I didn't have high expectations for this AMV dealing with popular sports miseries, since I only liked one. But I have to say that I far exceed my opinion. I give you 1000/10, good job.
