The only way I could get it to work was to go back to the roadblock close to the white house. I collected the keycard that was used to open the doors over there, and went back to the motel, weirdly enough, IT WORKED. I could open all the key card doors with the keycard that is located at the roadblock. The same keycard also works on the keycard doors close to the church. The only tricky thing is, you gotta click to interact on the red light security box thing that's on the hotel doors.
You gotta put on the mask so the green goo won't effect you. Maybe the keycard is in the luggage. I didn't see you check the luggage around the goo where the luggage cart was. I'll go look as well.
I’ve never found the key card but I like the idea of putting on the mask so the green goo doesn’t affect you, then trying the two suitcases and small drawer unit outside the door near where the bloater spawns. That would make sense to have it there?
Kage did you know subsistence has a experimental game ? It has a different map and more kinds of ores among other things. I would like to see you cover this.

Could the paper taped to the floor be a clue? Storage room #43 with the password to open it. Like the password needed to unlock the cage to free a survivor in the old map?
@@ItBeginsGamingServers there are two generators at the hotel one on each side of the stairs inside the hotel. You need to put fuel on each side to get in each side of the hotel's extra rooms. Sorry if I miss stated before.
Have you tried using the chair that’s blocking that door to a room, and cheese your way through the door like the one in the mine and the satellite dish 📡 roadblock?
I looked for the keycard in my game and i could not find it. So what i did was use a chair up against the door and glitched my way inside the room. Once in, you can open the door. No need for the keycard. Just save before going into the room.
I see a comment on another video apparently the keycard isn't in the game yet, there's going to be quests or something in the future and it's a reward, I don't know if it's true or bs just sharing what I read.
can you switch things up sometimes for the viewers? specifically like the weapons you use. using the same flamethrower for every episode is boring. try new things out. and stop complaining about everything and just try new things out. it’s more interesting if you do and more fun to watch. otherwise we just watch you do the same things you always do in all your survival games. Loot, build, and complain about how hard bad guys are to kill.

those little rooms are for employees.....so perhaps double check any room that says Employees for the key card.....
You may need to put fuel in both generators at the hotel. You should collect the card before you go to the hotel.
