I think the biggest barrier to the overdue acceptance of gay people in the Caribbean and Africa is the Christian Church -- a religion which was imposed on us by European oppressors.

So, I wanted to try an express in a logical way what I was left with after watching you brothas youtube video today. And please, I mean no disrespect to any other youTuber because I have love for you all but…
…this conversation had a grown man vibe through and through. Grown men who have made a commitment to the man they fell in love with, being unashamed and authentically themselves. Not the next fine ass couple jockin to become the next OnlyFans sensation, but rather ordinary men living life.
Too often I’ve subscribed to “couple channels” and although fun, never really dive into serious in-depth conversations, introspective or otherwise. You four left me smiling at, and being drawn into, the questions AND answers to some real life shit you all have experienced.
In maybe a bit clumsy of a way, what I’m attempting to convey is that I am in awe of your courage, your commitment, each couple to their respective partner, and that I will keep you brothas in thought and prayer. That you continue to be that beacon in what sometimes seems like a desert, with no water, to the world that you will water with your words, deeds and actions to become great men in your community and to the world. I truly definitely can relate to each individual concerning their coming-out process. I do appreciate each and everyone of you guys for sharing your experience with allowing us in. One thing I can really say we definitely are here but as a community we still have a long way to go. I would love to sit down and share my story with you guys as a much older mature 60 year old man. My processor was a little different. Overall I enjoyed it and the dialogue that was presented.

I am conflicted, admittedly. On the one hand, I so admire you and the Mazelins for showing America and the heterosexual world that gay black couples exist and living regular, normal lives. On the other hand I feel, well, hell, why is it that we as gay black men have to show anything? Why do we have to show our lives; why can't we just live and let live? I don't want to ramble, but on the whole, you guys are doin' the damn thang and providing so much hope to so many people. Bravo, and.....I hope ya'll gettin' that BAG too for your efforts! OK!
