Malik Willis is the obvious choice because Willis had to understand and remember the calls coming in and then execute those calls! I don't care who you are, coming in and remembering an entire game plan and then execute at the level of which he has is INSANE! Of course the game plan has been Pure Genius by the Flower Man LaFleur, I guess we can say everything is coming up Roses LOL!
Lefleur. Lefluer had an amazing game plan for the Colts game. Josh Jacobs and the entire team executed a spectacular game plan. Thatgave Malik confidence that this system was one that he could execute and won't... He took that confidence to Tennessee.
Gravel did Willis a horrible disservice when with the Titans. He was pulled after 1 play in his last start with Tennessee after the center hiked a horrible ball. He just didn’t like him, Period. So good to see his true potential realized with an organization that knows what they are doing.
MLF built a mini offensive system MW could learn and run in a week or so. Impressive. The offense adapted to the changes and executed well. Impressive. MW exceeded expectations with his opportunity. Impressive. And they all point to each other as the reason for the success. This is something beyond a few wins...it is a special atmosphere that portends good for GB and not-so-good for the rest of the league. Unfortunately, other teams will probably quickly adapt to the limited range of plays now that there is more film to watch. But come the end of the season, these two wins are probably going to loom large in the playoff picture and might gain a home-field game or two.
