In Navajo culture the legend says... two boys, Born for the Water and Monster Slayer. They saw their Diné being killed by monsters and Giants.
The two journeyed to their father who tested them to the extreme to make sure they were his sones.
He gave them weapons. Weapons that would allow them to kill the Giants.

About the use of prayer and corn pollen as an offering.
He talked about prayers for your family. Dont expect others to pray for you or your family. He does know what you want. Only you do.
You can pray just like him. He is no different than you.

As soon as I touched it, I became very ill, sick to my stomach. Aotearoa is a very strange and powerful place. I returned to Hawaii with a new respect for the Māori and their history.

The ancient book of Enoch goes into great detail about the Giants in the Middle East what they were like, how they ate humans. The Giants were apparently worldwide. It seems there was a worldwide civilization of Giants, also, before humans like us. In world history, they were not JUST symbolic.
These teachings are really useful too.
Agreed. There were indeed real giants. But he’s also right about finding the symbolic meaning in the old stories as well. The stories of the ancients are deep and multi layered. We must remember them again and find our lost wisdom.

He did say there were actual giants. They were born out of sexual perversion. That is how they came about in the book of Enoch too. Fallen angels taking human wives was the perversion in Enoch. Though Wally said the giants were children of the Holy People too. Maybe he meant that not all of the giants were eating people? Maybe some of them were good? I'm not sure but I know one Native American woman college professor wore the dress made of the skin and red hair of giants that were tormenting and eating her ancestors, so they found where the giants lived and set the entrance to their cave on fire. The giants could not escape and asphyxiated. So her ancestors made that dress of their flesh and passed the dress down with the oral tradition. I do believe that cave was later discovered with the giants bones. But the stories Wally is telling are about spiritual teachings.
Good to see that Wally is looking well, has good color, still doing some good storytelling, educating the younguns.

Reminds me of the Paiute oral legend of the SI-Te-Cah, a tribe of red haired cannibalistic giants.
These old scattered legends are incredible. The ancient tribes across the world remember, and they kept telling their kids. I pray these next generations remember what they learned, and teach it to their kids. 🕊❤️🌈🪶
There was a soldier who posted a story about seeing a tribe that lived right next to a mountain in Afghanistan and claimed to have witnessed a ritual where they painted their clothes and hair orange, and painted a goat orange. Then next day on patrol they washed the color out and the goat was nowhere to be seen. The local he talked to claimed it was an offering to the giants from the mountains.

The bones of multiple giants were found in caves in northern Nevada.
Thank you for the story. I'm Ojibwe/Menominee and I like on the Menominee Indian Reservation. I have seen 2 thinks here and they both scared me. My friend told me him and his friends what at the same place I was and 3 of these thing was circling them. One guy told them don't worry they are witches and don't be afraid. I only seen 1 and I was with my older friend and his son. I told them I had to be somewhere and made them get in his car and drive us out of there. The second thing was flying I didn't see it good because it was dark. My grandson seen it because it was at his window in my truck. He said it had a human looking face and had wings.
You see things clearly. More than those today!! I am related to the Taino from the Arawak people!! My respects to you and your people.
Grandfather wally ....I've been trying so hard to tell these stories but people take them for granted because I believe they seek too much of the synthetic life. The beautiful history is in mystery and this mystery is filled with magic

A turning point in my life was when my science chemistry teacher said we can create dragons in our minds that are not really a threat to us we write our own scripts from then I could see my own self efficacy . I have started to pray a lot recently. I respect the native wisdom so much and I respect people in my own life who have faith in a higher power . I respect the right ways so much. I want to go along the right path and my heart knows what it is. I get stuck sometimes longer than I’d like but I’ll pick up and try again and try again. I feel peace when I’m on the right path that’s at first always harder. In Ireland there’s stories about giants too I will try and learn more about those symbolic myths.

I find this fascinating...I was told once by a guy I met, that some of the early contacts with Jesuits and other missionary groups were amicably conducted due to the common belief of being children
What he's saying is the evil giants can be you, so change your ways, and pray. You can't be evil and praying, it doesn't work like that.
My great grandfather has told us slightly different from ur story. They r not our related family. They were evil they attacked ppl & ate them I say my great grandfather told us the truth about those evil Giants. He also talked about the huge birds that ate ppl. There were also Giant lizards & long neck dinosaurs. My great grandfather didn't hide history from us or try to twist history but told the truth...🌹🪶🌹✨🤗

This is what i thought i understood about this.
I heard a story about a US soldie in Afghanistan being attacked by one actually still alive!
He pierced his friend soldier and killed him.
Than everyone shot the big guy (3.7 to 4,5m tall) and he died.
~strange is though, as i listened to this story just about a week ago, the story seems to be changed.
For as i remember in the first atory it was said they shot him and ahot him and it made me think of BEE-stings to the Giant, aa ir wasnt directly affected so fast.
