This phone has arguably the best camera hardware and sensor in this price range.. But with the stock camera app, it's post image processing is not good at all.. So it needs a gcam apk to be installed in it.. The gcam apk has much better post image processing, and then the result is much much better..
I am using poco x6.. have installed a gcam apk, and the result is "asmaan zameen ka farq" compared to its stock camera app, specially at night and at harsh lighting conditions..

Lava has the most shitty camera software and optimization. Use any third party app in the same phone and compare with stock camera there is a day and night difference. After so many phones they are still having same issues in their flagship product. Focus hunting is a very serious issue in every lava phone it makes videos looks really bad.
