Brother Teddy and the Gems came to my church in Nashville ,N.C. Before service I asked them did they need a drummer and They told me they didn't use drummers at churches . I said no problem and went & sat in service. After playing several songs Brother Teddy asked " Where is the white boy who wanted to play with Teddy and The Gems ? I stood to my feet and said " I am the blackest white boy you have ever seen !" Brother Teddy invited me up and we played the remainder of the service together ! What a honor and privilege to have had the opportunity to play with these special people!

Loved these great men of God I was about 17 or 18 years old when I heard this song. I loved it then and I love it now
I remember them from singing with Rev.Charles Young. When Brother Charles had revivals.
