Isn't the minor yodel lick technically just the same as the yodel lick for the relative major i.e C minor yodel lick is Eb major yodel lick ?

I'd say...it depends. are you thinking dorian? Aeolian? melodic minor? There's lots of different flavors of minor, so I don't think it's that simple of an equation.
