Top 12 Most Disrespectful Moments Towards Ice Climbers - Super Smash Bros

- Despite the fact that the Ice Climbers have potential to be one of the hypest characters in the game (Wobbles, Fly Amanita), they are one of the most hated characters in Melee due to them possessing the technique "Wobbling", perhaps the most controversial technique in the game.
This causes a lot of players that aren't too fond of wobbling to feel the need to disrespect and BM Ice Climbers players as hard as they possibly can every chance they get.
(Note: I have nothing against Ice Climbers, I actually really enjoy watching them, I just figured this would make an interesting video because no other character in the game gets disrespected even close to this hard)
For anyone wondering why I didn't include the MikeHaze screaming match/Plup flipping off the camera after losing to Nintendude:
I decided to only include in-game moments in this video mainly because if I included out of game moments, then this video would turn into mostly clips of people being salty and refusing to shake hands with Ice Climbers players, yelling at ICs players, throwing their controllers, ragequitting vs ICs, and just mostly clips that I've already used in my "Salty Moments in Smash" series that everyone's seen already. And that wasn't really what I intended this video to be originally, I wanted more to feature people disrespecting/styling all over ICs in-game with taunts, falcon punches, rollouts, general bm, unnecessary overkill, etc etc.

Nah, that's just DJAGOF. He'll taunt at 180% without a stock lead, right in front of an opponent that just taunted him, he'll even taunt directly in front of a charge blast from Samus. The dude is the physical incarnation of Captain Falcon.

Regardless of if wobbling is fair. As a viewer this was very satisfying. Watching ic is the most boring thing to me. Not only from the wobbles but forcing people to play slow and safe for a guranteed boring match. I feel ic games are more a test of patience than skil. l

How are those bad things? I think the way they change the dynamic of the game is quite interesting to see. It doesn't just test patience, it also tests players' ability to adapt, both of which, in my opinion at least, are virtues.

I don't personally play the game. But I've seen so many ice climbers wobble their way to victory with little to no talent other than the ability to grab that I have to say this felt good to watch.
That #1 clip is downright hilarious, watching it the first AND second time. Second time I was watching the camera and the crowd reactions were phenomenal.

Dingodin scum Taking it a bit far aren't we? First off, that's just not cool. Second, I main Falco, and I wish I was good enough to play ICs. They're a fundamentally difficult and awful character. In fact, ICs mains, at least good ones, are some of the smartest and most technical players around. Other characters, including my main, can get away with autowin neutral games that should never lose to ICs, and have incredibly oppressive punish games in their own right. Falco, ICs, and Marth get exactly the same outcome off of a single move against Fox: Death. ICs are hated because their highest APM moments are in the neutral, not during punish.

People frowning on the wobblers being taunted even though they deserve it. I get it, wobbling is hard to pull off. It's risky, their reach sucks, and you can prevent it. But when you do pull it off, it's cheap and broken. Competition like this should be a place of skill, not a place where you win by dumb luck and manage to softlock your opponent. Wobbling should never have been made legal. I would love to understand the thought process behind it's legality, but I feel like the only way to achieve that would be to bash my head against a wall until I have enough brain damage to think that it's a fair play. Good on the heroes for crushing them and rubbing salt into their wounds. Savor every moment of it, because you deserve it.
