If Klay does leave, this is exactly what I said back in February. Should have traded him and get something back in return. But the Dubs fans are clinging on holding onto an aging player who can still shoot (though very inconsistently) just because of past performances. Now if he leaves, the Warriors get nothing. And believe it or not, Klay leaving is a good thing for the Warriors, I've seen three of the five games he wasnt playing in and they had much better rhythm without him (they went 5-0 this season without him). Love Klay, love his attitude and being professional. But it benefits the Warriors AND Klay if both moved on to different situations, in my opinion. They're not getting 2018 Klay any more. It's time to move on.

Klay was an asset in his time. For the past two years plus he has been deemed Klank Thompson. 2022 no help…2023..:no help….2024 no help. It’s time and if another team wants to pay him let him walk. They all have a a friendship and that’s cool but this is a business. GS went above and beyond to help him.
Klay can leave but if he wants to be the legend he deserves, he has to be careful how he does this...I will forever love klay but there are other fans who won't understand this.

That means sliding down Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins to Small Forwards wuth Klay Thompson and Gary Payton Jr. at Shooting Guards..
It would be nice if Jordan Clarkson or Alex Caruso can be the back up of Steph Curry.
Then also remind Steph and Klay to fish for fouls by using Head Fakes or Pump Fakes so they can score more on Free Throws.
