I just got a chance to meet and ride with Tyler in the UP a few weeks ago! I noted the Maasto Fitness graphic on his bike, but didn't know anything more about it . This is awesome to learn about and stoked it's making such an impact on your ride experience! 🤘
How did your TE300i do with stock valving in the whoops? I am considering getting a TE300 Pro, I rode one this past weekend in Baldwin on Little o/Tin cup and had a blast with it, but I didnt get much chance to hammer some trails like say leetsville. Curious how much different you suspension is now vs stock in whoops but did you give up any comfort in the technical tight stuff? I am currently on a 23 Husky FC450 trail converted I am around 215lbs with gear a fast C rider could be B- rider lol! 450 wears me out in the tight stuff.
I also have the pro. Stock is too soft for Michigans whoops. I'm 200 #’s and the stock suspension will get you in trouble if you ride aggressively. I had mine sprung and valved for my weight and had it set up for B-class Hare Scramble and its really good now!
@@Captain250FX would you ever go back to a 4stroke? Have you ridden it in a trail like leetsville where its super flow high speed? cuirous how the engine and suspension feel on it in those conditions vs your 250fx.
@@barrthom603 Actually if I could afford one of each I would. If I could only have one though it would be the 300 just because its a little more versatile. I defiantly miss the FX for some situations though.

Heck yeah! The biker world 🌍 is so small isn't it? I love the Maasto program I can feel the flexibility in my hips coming back.
Was there a couple weeks ago. Probably my favorite trail. Looks like rain for battle creek this weekend.
My favorite trail as well! See you Sunday!

Switching to a 2 stroke is great for endurance too
That's what I've heard.
The training sounds great. What trail are you on , I can’t tell we’re this is. Have great racing season this year.
Thank you. This was Evart on Friday. Some whoops on this trail are now VIOLENT 😆
Man, these trails are fun....but could be much more fun if the whoops were smaller.
Whoops are my least fav thing about riding lower Michigan
Oh man, I love them!
