Neonfly are a young machine-tooled British metal collective. They bring an awesome array of tunes to the table and have been stunning concert audiences everywhere. They are a breath of fresh air to a jaded metal scene. Neonfly are the UK's answer to the European melodic metal scene and more, a band tailored for a new generation of head-bangers all across the world and beyond. "Outshine The Sun" is their first studio effort, it promises a bright future ahead.
'TUNE! - High speed shredding and a bucketful of attitude' -- CLASSIC ROCK
'Some may find themselves spontaneously throwing devil horns in salute to the Enemy and The Ornament's rampant melodic chuggery' -- KERRANG!
'A Gift To Remember has the chorus to qualify it as a genuine metal hit' -- METAL HAMMER UK
'The UK is not exactly the most lucrative creative hotbed when it comes to Power Metal, but this smart, slick debut from Neonfly is about to change all that.' --POWERPLAY MAGAZINE
    Band Bio:
Neonfly are a machine-tooled British metal collective fashioned to bring an awesome array of tunes and stunning live performances to audiences everywhere. The band's line up: Frederick Thunder - Guitars & Strategies, Willy Norton - Vocals, Paul Miller - Bass, Patrick Harrington - Guitars and Boris Le Gal - Drums.
Neonfly were formed in 2008 immediately making a name for themselves in the underground with their first EP "Clever Disguise". Dates swiftly followed in the UK and Europe, including appearances at Bloodstock, Hard Rock Hell Road Trip Ibiza and tours supporting bands such as Freedom Call, Pagan's Mind, Power Quest and H.E.A.T. amongst others.
Their storming Bloodstock performance earned the band an offer to release the track "Ship With No Sails" on the ROCKBAND Network. The track has proved immensely popular on X-box and has garnered Neonfly a new and constantly increasing fan base. Due to its success the track was amongst a handful to be upgraded to the PS3 in October 2011.
In 2011 the band recorded their debut full-length album "Outshine The Sun" as the band was swiftly snapped up by dynamic UK label Rising Records. The album was released on September 5th 2011 and has been reviewed extensively and was positively received in the UK and international rock press. It is now available in stores and online everywhere. The album was granted a Japanese release in February 2012.
Coming off the back of two more UK tours in the UK supporting Freedom Call and The Morning After plus a headline show at London's prestigious Relentless Garage the band has built up a stellar reputation for their explosive live performances. In Summer 2012 the band has taken a huge leap forward by being confirmed at some of Europe's biggest metal festivals. With the release of the band's debut video for 'A Gift To Remember' in July 2012 there is high hopes for a big hike in terms of profile as a result of greater TV and radio exposure.

I met these guys last night supporting Sonata Arctica after the show ended, bought their CD which all of them signed and chatted to them for a while - Some of the nicest people I've met and I really wish them success - The album is absolutely brilliant :)

This was reccomended, so I just tried it out; with no intentions of keeping it on, but I just couldn't turn it off. This is a band I've been longing to hear for a while!

It's like they're reviving 0's metal, and what's wrong with that? I'm 16 and love 80's. In love with this song. They need so many more views!

Haven't seen the video for this track yet. Neonfly have potential to be a pretty big band, if they just focus on writing songs like this with catchy chorus's, big hooks and high production values. Plus, they're really nice guys. Met them after a gig in Doncaster. Have to say, I've met a lot of musicians, but these guys are up their with the nicest ones I've ever met...
    Great job guys.

These guy are absolutely amazing !! Seen them at the galapagai festival. I was actually looking forward to see Oomph that day, but after Neonfly's performance, I was inlove with them and I didn't even care about Oomph anymore. That was one of the best concerts I had ever seen, they were so energetic and very friendly with the public. Love you guys !

I'm trying to convert a 15 year old into metalhead, so gonna start with this band as it's coming to my city this month...but my ultimate goal is to get him to like death metal bands like dark tranquility ...WISH ME LUCK.
