It also doesn’t burn. I’ve heard of a hair that got mixed into the hair of a girl. So they cut her hair and burned it. What remained was the hair of the prophet pbuh. I think I’ve heard this from Sheikh Ahmad al-Khazraji

I’m no ‘wobbler’ but just like the Shaykh calls for a reliable chain of ownership going back to the sahaba for the blessed hair, should there not be more than a single disputed narration (who has a known liar in the chain) that states that the blessed Prophet (saas) had no shadow? I mean, shouldn’t there actually be tawattur ahadith, let alone sahib, about this miracle? Why are the collections of shama’il silent about this ‘fact’? Did the sahaba who were known to collect every last detail of his bless shamail collectively forget this important detail? I would love nothing more than be humbled by scholarly research on this topic so a kind request to those who read this and know something about the topic to please provide something for me and others to read would provide proofs, especially in the English language. It Is common amongst the companions and the experts of hadith that The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم did not have a shadow. If the entirety of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم did not have a shadow then how can a part of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم have a shadow? Sayyiduna Uthman Al-Ghani رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ said to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: ‘اِنَّ اللهَ مَا اَوْقَعَ ظِلَّكَ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ لِئَلَّا يَضَعَ اِنْسَانٌ قَدَمَهٗ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ الظِّلِّ’ ‘Indeed, Allah Almighty did not allow your shadow to be cast on the ground lest a human tread upon that shadow,’ (Tafseer Nasafi, p. 772)’ According to another narration, he رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ said, ‘Your shadow is not cast upon the ground, lest it falls upon the impure ground,’ (Madarij-un-Nubuwwah, vol. 2, p. 161). The teacher of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, Imam Abd al-Razzaq, Imam Ibn al-Jawzi and Sayyiduna Abdullah b. Mubarak رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـه narrate that the companion of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Sayyiduna Abdullah b. Abbas رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما said: لَمْ یَکُنْ لِرَسُوْلِ الله صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم ظِلٌّ ... وَلَمْ يَقُمْ مَعْ شَمْسٍ قَطُّ اِلَّا غَلَبَ ضَوْؤُہٗ ضَوْ ءَ الشَّمْسِ وَلَمْ يَقُمْ مَعْ سِرَاجٍ قَطُّ اِلَّا غَلَبَ ضَوْؤُہٗ ضَوْ ءَ السراج ‘The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not have a shadow…The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم never stood in the sun except that his light outshone the light of the sun, and he never stood before a lamp except that his light outshone the light of the lamp,’ (Al-Wafa’ bi Ahwal Al-Mustafa, vol. 2, p. 19; Zurqaani alal Mawahib, vol. 5, p. 525; Al-Juz-ul-Mafqood minal Musannaf li Abdul Razzaq, p. 56). Ibn Hajr Al-Makki رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه explained it thus: The reality of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم being light is further proven since he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would not cast a shadow when walking in the sunlight or moonlight. The reason for this is that a shadow is only cast by a solid body but Allah Almighty made His beloved صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم free of all physical density and solidity by creating him from light, hence, he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not have even the faintest shadow, (Al-Minahul-Makkiyyah fi Sharh Al-Hamziyyah, p. 86). The golden advice of Sayyiduna Imam Abdul Wahhab Al-Sha’rani رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه ‘It is unbefitting to dispute or ask for a specific proof regarding something which adds to the greatness and excellence of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, (Kashf-ul-Ghummah, vol. 2, p. 53).
But dear Sheikh, If Rasulullah (s.a.w) didnt have shadow then why people were trying so hard to see the seal of nubuwwah in his back. Remember the struggle of Salman Al Farisi r.a to seek for the opportunity to see it at the graveyard

The narration that says the prophet pbuh had no shadow is not authentic, infact there are authentic narrations, for example in musnad Ahmad bin Hanbal where the sahabah saw the shadow of the prophet pbuh. If anyone can bring an authentic hair of the prophet pbuh like in the Dubai museum you can see that they all have shadows. I challenge anyone to bring a hair of the prophet pbuh which has no shadow, i can guarantee you there will never ever be one.
He mentioned some of the works that allude to this fact, perhaps you can do some research. Unless you claim to be more knowledgeable than those Ulama, there will be plenty of proof for you. May Allah guide you to the right path.
How can you guarantee anything, cause even when proof is provided, you still will not believe. Doubt is the first sign of disbelief. Our Beloved Prophet SAW is above us all and should be respected, beyond our understanding, because we do not understand the station ALLAH SWT granted Him SAW
