The original stream that led to VM getting a large keep commissioned in their honor was due to Sovereign Uriel and his family being mind -controlled by a glabrezou demon that took over empress Salda's body. That's the monster you see them fighting. Back when the Kickstarter was launched they only planned to do a 20 minute special so it's likely that they'd have shown them fighting the demon instead of Brimscythe, whom they had killed beforehand
Another cool aspect of this was a few dozen episodes into the 2nd campaign they made this for their opening theme: ruclips.net/video/LhFETREAvhc/видео.html
and to clarify... this was originally made for the 2nd campaign first and it was so cool they used it for Legends :) Looking at how I said that earlier I didn't want to mislead :)
