Hey! What kind of shampoo is that that you use?? My dog is shedding really bad and I can’t get it to stop. I’ve tried blowing her out and bathing her lol. If anyone has any tips just let me know cause I’m at a loss.😂
Blowout season is the worse. I'd recommend any kind of Shed Control shampoo, I really adore Tropiclean or I heard that Furminator shampoo is really good too!
From a groomer, having them sit for that long in conditioner doesn’t really help the coat at all with de shedding. First doing what’s called a “dry blow out” you literally do just that it blows out what hair it can BEFORE bath time. And then What you want to do is sit for about ten to fifteen minutes in conditioner WHILE you are using a rake or comb to get the dead hair out. You want to be stimulating the skin and coat to release any dead hair that’s there. THEN followed by Shampoo. With shampooing and conditioning you want to use a dog scrub bathing brush and just scrub all over. Followed by drying this is going to be your best way of getting as much coat out as possible.

I have to admit I have never seen anyone give a dog a bath by lathering them up in conditioner without getting the dog good and soaking wet first and I use to be a dog groomer... Hmm very strange.
