I've used Saflager 34/70 at room temp several times to great success. Not under pressure. Just normal ferment. Lagers are way more accessible than I first thought they were.

Love northern brewer! Been buying most of my equipment and ingredients from them for a couple years now, wish I had a local HBS otherwise I would support them, they closed years before I got into brewing.

Good timing. I just made a Mexican lager and pitched the same yeast. Ended up using 20% corn though and went with mandarina Bavaria hops. That biofine did a pretty damn good job in the amount of time it sat. Next time tape the inkbird probe to the keg with some insulation (before you fill it with cold wort so the tape sticks without sliding off due to condensation) in order to control the beer temp directly and not the ambient air.

star san's cheaper than vodka! I just let them crash while they carb. I always have pressure on to avoid suck back but got lucky this time i guess

Love your channel. A little personality in beer videos goes a long way. You should do a "blind" triangle test to see if you can spot differences. Pour 3 beers...one is different. Then see if people can reliably choose the odd beer out. Don't even need a blindfold if you use red Solo cups. Oh...and throw some flaked corn in that bad boy for a Mexican lager.
