AQUAPROS im glad you didn't trim the hole thing it looks nice.
Where is ZIGGY the tetra!?
Can you also list the CO2 set up and Substrate?
aquapros it was very sad to see the disaster.i think some discuss fish will look very stunning in the tank.
cheers!!!!!!!
fish lovers club.
jungle tank is still my favorite by far. super unique with the wood!!
Losses always stink but at least it was manageable. Thanks for the vid
Beautiful Tank Mike! Looks amazing!
LOVE your tanks
any pictures of the fish with the disease?
Were you in hawaii when the missile alert came in?
+Hawk_ Eye yuppppp 😯 it was crazy for like 20 minutes...
AQUAPROS if you don't mind me asking: what was your reaction and first thought on the fact that you were most likely going to die in the next few minutes? Did you do anything special?
Any tips on food for cichlids
what was the fish in the 2nd 33g tank?
Fill the tank with praecox rainbows they are bigger and have awesome colours so will be easy to see across the room and they also school...
I'm glad to see you have problems with string algae... I am still working on getting rid of mine.
I have some dwarf tears in my tank with high lighting and i cant get them to grow, im thinking its the substrate if u have any ideas i would love some answers
I started a nano tank on November. I m growing a gloso carpet. How long can I expect it to begin carpeting. It’s my first time. Tanks!
Tanks are looking sweet bro!! Looking forward to that pea puffer rescape!
1827% water change, wtf?
Feel ya.. had this thing too.. stay strong!
What is the bga remover that u are using?
What is the name of the blue green slime remover you used?
For the bonsai tank, you should add a mini swing or tire swing to the bonsai tree and either make or buy a driftwood bench for the middle "grassy" area. I think that would look cool!
For the moss aquarium add some White Cloud Mountain minnows with Zebra thorned Nerite snails and Red Nose shrimp
(Rhino Shrimp)
What kind of fish are in the jungle tank? Really like the look of those.
Are you able to use those trimmings to grow more of that carpet plant?
I use the same blue green algae remover you use and I've had luck with it to removing the hair algae , weird I know but it did knock it out.
What is this blue green algae remover you talk of? Is it DIY of propriety?
G Whit ultra life blue green slime remover it will take out algae and some other stuff believe it or not didn't kill my shrimp or snails . If it does you might have done something wrong. Product is on Amazon
Tanner Moore thank you I will look into it, I love Amazon lol
Love this video
What plant is that carpeting your 33gal
What’s the blue green algae solution made of?
Does having C02 injected in the tank not help in reducing algae? Also, can you recommend a C02 Kit (completer kit) for a 30 gal aquarium. thanks and I love your vids :)
I really want some of the Kerri tetra babies, your adults look awesome - keep up the great videos and welcome back!
can you please make video how to use fertilizer for carpets monte carlo or glossostigma how much? how often and how to know that there is enough of those in aquarium tank it would be realy helpful... sorry for my bad english I am from Slovenija
Great tank! One question: Do your fish/shrimps jump out because the top of the tank is open?
Very nice video. 😉😉😉😉😉
Do u have a video on that chemical u use to remove blue green slime
Can’t wait for the “All of My Tanks Video” and the rescape of the the Puffer Fish Tank, keep up the great work!!😁
Really like that puffer tank setup. Going to be hard to beat that.
What ferts do you use?
If you want a suggestion about the stock on the cube, maybe white cloud minnows
Show us the old aquarium lab! I miss it
What do you do with all the plant trimmings? Do you feed them to a turtle or just put them in the compost?
Can you make a video about how to setup your first planted tank (without fish, maybe some shrimp), but with everything DIY, filter, CO2 pump, light etc.
What kind of water do you put in after the change?
I have a 5.5 gallon planted tank with a single betta in it... (going to get some shrimp soon, hopefully the betta doesn't eat them.) I've been growing a pretty decent glossostigma carpet and I kind of want to do a re-scape.. Is there annnny way to not completely destroy the carpet when moving wood and rocks around?
Lindy unfortunately you will have to remove most of it. But dont worry if you remove it carefully you will be able to replant it
Yo Boii darn, thanks for the info though!
Lindy np my pleasure
Hi im kinda new to the aquarium hobby and i was wondering IF you could keep gouramies and rainbow fish in the same tank?
Stefan Löve you can. The majority of those are hardy species. But u need to balance out the species quite well.
it depends on the type of gouramis and the rainbowfish as well as the size of tank
Nice video
So is it normal that when I do a water change, there is a bunch of debris floating around after? Plz answer someone thx
Looking forward to the tank updates mike. Sorry to hear about your cardinals they’re my favorite fish too right next to galaxy rasboras
Were you in Hawaii during the nuke panic?
HOpefully you figure out what it is exactly xD I'd love to know
Discoloration and ulcers can be fungal, parasite, or water. Some water tests for the water, put in some nano cheap "feeder" fish to see if they develop similar damage that the tetras suffered from.
Looking at your nano tank I find I am having some similar problems. I just got my son his first tank and it is the Flubal Spec V and the pump outflows too hard and if I have it flowing on the top to keep the bio-film from establishing then all the food gets pushed down and doesn't float for more than 30 seconds. No big deal, but the fish don't want to eat it after it has sunk to the bottom and a lot of it just makes a mess and even though I have shrimp they don't eat most of what falls each day. I was thinking I would add a sponge material to the outflow port to slow the water at the surface so the food will float longer. Any ideas? Also I bought some water plant bulbs, but only one has started to sprout and it has been about 4 weeks since planted. How much longer should I give the other 4-5 that haven't sent out shoots?
Rachel O'Leary recommends chemiclean to get rid of cyanobacteria, in both fresh and salt water tanks. Works great, just follow the directions and add in a lot of air stones for aeration. I've had a friend use it and is completely satisfied with it.
any idea how to get rid of green algae & green water? i just replaced 90% of the water 3 days ago & it's fully green again! the algae grown the on glass can even get scrubbed off it's on so strong!
Missy Sue UV sterilizer
And is your aquarium exposed to sunlight?
if yes, move it.The algae will clear up
saurav patil it's not i actually have blackout curtains & only have the tank light on at night
does glosso need co2??
Do a dragon gobi in the mossball tank. They are awesome!
Could you please do a tour of all the tanks?
Are you gonna add some harlequin rasboras? I personally love em, worth it to check em out!
Where do you get your ghost shrimp from because everytime I buy ghost shrimp from petco they all die off
go to a local store (that's not corporate)
Thats unfortunate. At least it seems to be contained to the tetras, and hopefully nothing new you add will become infected. What was the general cure that you used?
Come to shrimp mountain Charlie......
Did any of the Tetras have curved or bumpy spines? There's a disease almost exclusive to Cardinals and Neons, but I've had a Zebra Danio develop it too, that is literally called Neon Tetra Disease and it's most often initially caused by inbreeding. If you buy a big batch of Tetra from the same source there's a good chance they have been inbred and most, if not all, of them will develop the disease. It's untreatable as it's on a genetic level. It can even be transferred to healthy fish if they eat, even a little bit, any part of a dead fish that already has the disease.
Pumped about the 125 coming back to video!
You should do some sort of pseudomugil, threadfin or neon rainbow fish! Always sucks when you have fish die on ya :(
You should get algae eating fish? Or bottom feeders?
I was so sad i love the neons
Crazy!
What type of Tetras? Kereye
Hi!! First of all, big fan from Mexico.
Secondly, have you ever tried using Glutaraldehyde?? Apparently it is suppose to be really good to kill algea
Some Carpit-Plants would look great !
Funny thing about this man is I live in Minnesota and 2 months ago my 18 cardinal tetras did the exact same thing and now I have 1 left. And none of my other fish in the tank were affected. Just the cardinals.
I saw I guy mention high co2 as the cause. Did you have a diffuser in your tank?
What's the variety of that dark buce? I got some green velvet - I think that's how its called - but Im not super halpy with that one.
Question: did you chop any shrimp in half? :(
Get dwarf neon rainbows for the 33!!
What are those tetras???:O
Do you have any female emperor tetras in there too? Would be awesome if those would breed too!
7:55 Please tell me what algea that is
Danny b its called “Jiyant Reethard”
why do you not have algae eaters in all your tanks?
Aquapros, I like your content a lot (especially the DIY and science videos). If I may suggest something is that you lack filtration in the tanks you've shown us on here.
The minute I saw your filter choices for this and other of your tanks (including the jungle one) I thought you were going to have issues with them. Basically lack of water movement and under filtration, just my two cents. Keep it up.
Think it maybe be the wood ? your fish are Beautiful
You should bake a beta tank
You should remove the back dragon stone in the cube and plant a stem plant
Maybe that one lone surviving Cardinal has some gene that gives it resistance or makes it extra tough. You should try to breed it!
Your joby lookin like an alien life form from Sim City
Put shrimp in the jungle tank to control the algae
I think that the most fish like more Plants where they can hide etc.
What ever happened to your dwarf cichlid tank?
Carpet looking thicc
It could be a parasite or bacteria go with a more aggressive med cycle next time and definately treat the tank before adding more fish and always quarrantine and medicate new fish aquarium co-op reccommends that and from my experiance quarrantining and medicating before adding them to an established tank is a must
Use zebra danios
Excess co2 killed the cardinal tetras.
You are the first person I've seen mention this and it seems like that's a problem
hi im a new fish channel
Im pretty sure if Mike hadnt taken down the mangroove tank,The fish he wouldve gotten were clouded archer fish.I mean like,it kinda makes sense
125g PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Can’t wait for the all my tanks video
remove the bonsai, add some one or two big pointy seiryu rock.. iwagumi style.
i think it'll look better
Talks about fish disease and death
"HEY LOOK AT THIS LOG AND MY SNAIL ON THE GLASS"
Me- my eyes and ears are not cooperating WHUT?
Oh that's upside town. I think it was mating season , and they where over feading. And had to deal with shrimp eating their eggs., that's Dissapointing , but I saw the last video And knew it. Than I see actually , how you mite need more air and sponge filters. Cut back on co2 since you have fish I n there. Nice aquarium footage. For the video. It's actually worth lookng.
Had similar experience with a black angelfish, getting ate by live worms I was feeding it. Small fish need flakes and having a time with figuring out the aquariums,
Where's ZIGGY the tetra!?
The plants have been fertilized with Cardinal tetras unfortunately.
at 5;19 YOU CAN SEE LONESOME GEORGE!
Dude get rid of thise pond snails, they seem to multiply and look unsightly. Im not sure but can they carry desease?
I almost never tirm i only do when fish cant swim anymore
