As a Ram guy, I have to respect this build! The 23+ SDs are starting to grow on me in looks. This KR is just perfect. I know everyone is into the blackout/body color look, but Star White with chrome is timeless! And I LOVE that you tucked the 37s as opposed to poking them out. Much better look.
I just traded in my Ram on a 24 SD and let me tell you man, you will NOT be disappointed. I miss some of the extra space and function of my megacab, and the digital rearview mirror, but other than that the SD makes up for it and then some.
I actually like it on the factory wheel vs a 9" wheel. It works better getting into job sites especially when they are muddy nd you're pulling a trailer. The wheel lip molding look good and reminds me of my 2020 Tremor. Why they don't offer them on the newer trucks? Carli is the best and your buddy will love it.
How much is that liftkit installed? And the tires I have a platinum and I'd love to have that setup ....Thanks Another question that rear bumper will it fit on a 2017 F250?
I had a 6" lift installed on my 23 and the shop used brackets from another lift company, they installed them upside down and the lights were in the trees. I fabbed new ones with some ball joint ends from McMaster Carr.
Nice looking truck!!!! Those chrome wheels made a big difference in looks. The standard king ranch with 2 tone does not come with chrome bumpers which come in the chrome pkg. If you get that pkg then it deletes the two tone paint. Did you swap the colored bumpers for the chrome ones? I am sure that is the case because they normally come with the stone grey bumpers. You forgot the mention that upgrade. Those fender flare completes the looks of that truck.
I can’t get that package? I ordered the KR with the chrome package but like you said they don’t have the option for the two tone with the chrome bumpers. Can you share the build specs??
Is the two tone factory or is it a wrap or paint. I’m getting ready to order one and love this stone grey but I don’t like the dark brown they come with now
Great looking truck! I’ve leveled multiple super duty’s with 37/12.50’s on factory wheels, love the set up and never had any problems. However my current 2019 with brand new BFG ko2’s will not balance. It has a speed sensitive wobble 58-67 mph. I’ve been told they need to be road force balanced but the only ones I can find are at Discount Tire who won’t touch them because the factory wheel is 8’ wide and tire spec to minimum 8.5’’. Any suggestions?
It's difficult to know with the F250 KRs. I have been waiting to get a F450KR build scheduled and got the email a little over a week ago. By the time the March build date arrives I will have been waiting for 23 months. Delivery will take me beyond 2 years since I ordered at the end of the 2022 model year.
@@jasoncarter411uh yeah exactly it’s a work truck for people to work and use. If you’ve done literally any work with trucks that have these you’d know how useful those steps are. Everyone just wants a big beautiful truck to do nothing with instead of one with added handy features. I’d buy this over the later model purely for the steps and updated interior.
@@roynelson3207 your comment says f150s come with 37s if your where smart! Your comment would have said f150 raptor r’s come with 37s. I know so much more than you bud. You probably drive a Prius!
@@Precisiontigwelding lol the R isn't the only thing that comes w 37s... I'm a gen2 owner, and the title says f150 because that's what it is. The raptor is a trim level. So again u can get a f150 that comes standard w 37s w the 37 package. All from the factory
One very specific trim of the F150 gets 37s from the factory. This limits you to a 5.5' bed and reduces both payload and towing capacity which is less than ideal. This truck could have been ordered (recent KR wait times have been close to 2 years) with the tremor package which would have come with 35s and only needed a tire and wheel swap to go to 37s.
Now it will drop 2 mpg. Make a ton of noise at speed and handel like shit. Wear the tires out in 40k instead of 60k and is unsafe because of shit blocks. Glad you like the way it looks.
