  • In this video Peter Geerdts goes through all his self built soprano ukuleles to demonstrate their marvellous various sounds. We also had two of my Brükos (thanks Mrs and Mr Pfeiffer), a Wunderkammer Sopranino (the second ever built and pre owned by Charlotte Pelgen) and a 1920s Martin Style 2 that day.
Peter builds (soprano) ukuleles inspired by vintage (Martin) ukuleles in a stunning quality and some own twists to those models. He started a few years ago. Wow. Also we became friends.
Here we present the "Soprano Heaven" (thanks Ad van Bever for the term) from the child's room.
    Enjoy

The first model Peter demos here is currently at my place and I play it as much as I can. Other owners of a Peter Geerdts soprano are Charlotte Pelgen and Andreas Rottmann (Ukahuna Ukulele). Peter is a fabolous player as well.
Decide which sound you like the most from this video. Some Sound more martin-esque, some more like a sweet kamaka-ish one.

Very kind, thank you! I also love swing ukulele. The first tune is a famous tune but I can't remember the name...

Thanks also for your videos. Recently I bought two vintage Bruko thanks to your reviews and comparison, they are fantastic instruments! @@JanHaasler

Hello: the slower tune is an extract from "Shine on Harvestehude moon" and the fester one from "Crazy C". Best regards from Peter and me.
