I mean, I hate that you have bad days anywhere, but you are always so excited and prepared and happy when you land in a new spot. My new year’s wish is for you to have good health no matter where you are! Can’t wait to see what else you’ve been up to!
I have such admiration for you and your attitude. Most of us would be bitter about missing 4 days due to a migraine. You just started day 5 with that beautiful smile.😊❤️
This is so nostalgic to me, I got teary. I lived in Ireland for 5 years, 4 of which in Dublin. I studied at Trinity and met my (Irish) partner there. We had to move to the UK for work a few years ago and it is so melancholy to see the city in this video. Good that the cliffs of Moher did not make an appearance, as I would have got very emotional watching that. My partner and I are going to be back for good one day, and I hope you also get to be back soon and experience more of the beauty of the country. Once you have Ireland in your heart, leaving it behind is pretty much impossible.

I'm currently facing the hardest time in my life and I barely hang on myself but I wish that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. I sincerely wish everyone that happiness enters your hearts and let all the stress and sadness vanish out of your life...as you know nothing in life is ever easy, but what's important is that you keep going. We're all worthy of love and happiness in the end so guys never allow anyone to tell you otherwise! It can be extra hard sometimes but stay strong and hang in there, your life matters, no one can replace you the way you are and as you know everything is temporary so your struggles will pass just like mine will.I wish all of you plenty of health and strength during these tough times. Remember you are strong, you got this! never forget that!

Taylor, I give you so much credit just for taking these solo trips let alone with migraines that can come on at any time. I worry enough about a bathroom when I need one. I really enjoy your style of vlogging and your honesty. Keep, keeping it real. It is a relief to know you are human. You give just enough of everything. Heading to Ireland for my (American) niece's wedding in summer 2023. I am of Irish decent but have only visited once, in May of 1984, on a high school trip. I remember standing in the countryside at one point and thinking, "This is what heaven must look like." We visited Killarney, Waterford, Blarney Castle, Dublin, and probably a few other places I have forgotten. It was fabulous. I'm so excited to go back! Your footage was beautiful.
Ughhh. I stayed in Ireland for a little over two weeks in 2019 and seeing all the familiar sites makes me want to go back again.

When I read “cute costal town” in the title, I totally thought you were going to be in Dingle. Such a cute town and the drive there from Limerick was so beautiful. It was one of my favorite days in Ireland between the two times I’ve been.
Totally agree with this! I’m from Limerick and the drives all along the wild Atlantic way are stunnnnning. Loads of castles and beaches and cliffs! Happy to be your tour guide as I used to work in two of the castles around Limerick! Can’t wait for you to come back :-)
Limerick was our first night stay before Dingle and I agree! Dingle was very quaint. I did have something kind of funny happen to me in Limerick. Turns out there was a problem with the hotel door lock and when we checked in it appeared someone was squatting in the room for a nap because there was an id in the room power slot and change on the nightstand. None of us knew that the room was accessible yet due to the faulty lock. I awoke at about 4:30 am because I sensed movement at the foot of the bed. I felt for my GF at the time and she was beside me. The figure then proceeded to attempt to slide into bed with us so I reached for my knife and yelled a few expletives and the shadow raced across the room to the door. I gave chase because I thought perhaps they had stolen our cash and passports but stopped short of making it all the way down the hall because it occurred to me that probably wasn't the case. My intruder was naked from the waist down (I was in boxers and a t) and I couldn't imagine that being a burglar's choice of attire. I went to the lobby and explained the day's events and she was mortified. She made several different cards to investigate the lock issue and found any card would open the door! I went back to our room and before I reached our room the door before mine opened and a gentleman raised his hands and exclaimed "dude, I am so sorry! That was me in your room but I swear I wasn't trying to steal or do anything!!" I accepted his apology and told him I believed him as he had just gotten back from the pubs and he mistakenly opened our door because the key card did function, after all? We laughed, I apologized and he understood and bid him adieu. Then he asked me very politely and sheepishly "hey, um, can I get my pants back? I am sorry, It's got my cash and passport in them...?" I of course let him into our room to retrieve his personals and he apologized to my GF. We got a laugh when he introduced himself and she said "Oh we've met already but you look so much different with pants on!" It was his first night in Ireland and he was tipsy and tired but I hope he enjoyed his first night being chased by a large tattooed man with a sharp object in the wee hours while naked. The drive to Dingle DID involve my GF and I making up limericks about our evening's events in Limerick. Thanks for reading, if you did, and I wouldn't believe me either if it didn't happen to me but that's been the story of my life often times.

Gorgeous! When I was 26 I promised myself for my 30th birthday I'd do a guided tour of Scotland and Ireland. I saved my tax returns for 5 years. When I was 31 I was looking into finally doing it then my car died and I had to use the entire travel fund for a car. I'm also plagued with chronic health and pain issues, so at 36 I'm doubting I'll be able to fulfill that dream so watching travel videos is bittersweet. I get to see things I wouldn't otherwise, but I don't get to experience them in person. I'm so glad you've been able to make it work and see so many amazing places!
When I went to Ireland I found the easiest and cheapest way to travel was to take the bus tours one way. For example, a company will have a bus that starts in Dublin, takes you the cliffs, stops in Galway, and then brings you back to Dublin. I would just get off in Galway and stay there. It’s cheaper than renting a car and it includes a tour of some of the bigger sites

My husband and I when we travel we choose 2 or 3 cities in each country with interesting places around each where you can go as day trips ideally by train. We stay a week in each base. That works so well, a small backpack is all you need for a day trip. And between those bases you can take a train or fly depending on the distance. We travel with a carry on so at least one of the places (the 2nd if possible) has to have a washer so our clothes’ll be good for one or two weeks more.

Obviously you’re already gone, but if you liked the immigration museum, there is a really charming and small museum about Jewish Irish history. We got a tour from the nicest guide and met the daughter of the former mayor (I think?). It was a random find, but absolutely worth it!
My husband and I went to Ireland on our honeymoon for 14 days 6 years ago. You just made me miss it more than I usually do! 🥹
OMG THE Taylor in my neck of the woods? Wild! So fun to see Dublin through your eyes. I live here and go to college in Trinity, and it definitely loses it's charm when you're struggling to survive #costoflivingcrisis 😅😅 But it definitely has its moments 💚
Your plan for the next time you're in Ireland sounds great though. Our little island is definitely best explored via road-trips! The west of Ireland is definitely the more charming side in my opinion, and that's coming from a girl who's never lived anywhere but the city. You should add Connemara to your list of road-trip destinations! I went to the Gaeltacht (Irish-language summer camp) there growing up and it's always struck me as one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Also, Glendalough in county Wicklow, in the east, is definitely another must-see in my books. Hope you get some relief from sucky migraine stress soon- Love, a fellow migraine sufferer ❤️
My mom and I took a trip to Ireland in 2012. We could only stay for a week, so we decided to use Dublin as our base and do some day trips. We went to Glendalough on a day tour. It was incredibly beautiful. We also went to Kilkenny on that same tour. We took another tour and went to Newgrange and the Hill of Tara. And on another day, we went to Waterford by ourselves on the train to tour the Waterford crystal factory. In Dublin, we toured Dublin Castle and went to a dinner and a tour thing at the Jameson's distillery. We also took a duck boat tour and went to an exhibition of Islamic art at one of the museums...I don't remember which one. And what else? Oh yes, the Book of Kells and the Long Library at Trinity University!
Everybody was so nice and helpful to a couple of confused Americans.
What I regret missing: the Guinness distillery and the James Joyce museum. I hope to go back someday, but who knows. I'd also like to tour the Belleek factory, which means going to Northern Ireland. And if I'm going to do that, might as well go to Belfast and tour the shipyard where the Titanic was built!

Always love these vlogs, I've been watching your videos for about 6 years. It's so amazing that you're able to go travel the world considering the suffering you went through for so long, I am so so happy for you that your health stuff is manageable now. I'm currently on day 4 of a migraine and I could not even imagine being in another country this way, chronic migraines are noooo joke. One day I'd love to travel like this and just see what is out there, especially the food. I originally subscribed for your personality (and makeup), it's refreshing hearing someone as direct as me give reviews and opinions in a systematic & informative way, but these traveling vlogs I never knew I needed & love so much.
You mentioned eating healthy and I know you loveee food, it would be awesome to see what kinds of things you eat most days to stay healthy, or just really good food you like to make/eat.

I went to Ireland for the first time in May. I did not want to leave. We stayed in Dublin. The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking. We also went to Galway, which was so beautiful and had wonderful food and amazing ice cream (Murphy’s). Next time we go, we want to stay in the South in one of the little villages.

I studied abroad in Ireland this summer. We went all over and did so many things. Cork and Balleyferriter were my top spots we visited and the Guinness Tour was good but we also did one at Jameson. I was born and raised in Ireland, lived in multiple places but studied and lived mostly in Dublin. I was there again to see family over New Years, but I moved to the UK after graduation 5 years ago. It feels nostalgic watching your video of places from where I once lived and grew up in :)

Omgggg you did alottt, even with not feeling great. I couldn't have done all! 1 recommendation if your ever back in Dublin, the music pub crawl. Even if you don't want to drink the atmosphere is fabulous. I have done it twice and got my brother and sister in law tickets, they cannot wait to go back. Such a fun evening. The story telling is brilliant. Also... G Hotel in Galway... Beautiful and for a disney style 5 star experience up north, the galgorm hotel... Its dreamy 😂 sorry just cannot believe you were in Ireland, wee bit over excited x x

It's lovely to see the city you're from through new eyes. I'm so sorry you weren't feeling well on your visit Taylor. I'd highly reccommend the free National museums if you're in Dublin and looking for something to do on a day where you might only have a few hours where you feel well because you aren't paying for an experience and then missing out if you need to leave early. I love dropping in just to look at the Bog bodies in the Archeology museum on Kildare street or the fashion wing in Collins Barracks without committing a whole day to one activity. A shorter day trip from Dublin well worth the journey is Glendalough. It's a phenomonally beautiful area in Wicklow that looks just as amazing from the start of the walking trail and it does along the way so you're not missing out if you're not up for a hike.
I'm sorry you had so many pain days. But at least you know what else you want to do when you go back. I hope you are having a great new year! Btw I bought that vitamin c serum and I love it. I went to Ireland feb 2019 and i fell in love that i tried to move there in 2021 but it wasn't easy with a cat so i decided to stay in states. But i am going again feb this year and i am so excited! It is the best place on earth 💕 thank you for the vlog!

I’ve been chronically ill to the point of leaving my house only for doctors and I’m glad to see someone else who has similar struggles doing things! I would love to travel more and enjoy.
