IF you're dealing with a narcissist, they're intimidated by anyone who's better looking than them or who receives more compliments than them. Therefore, they'll ALWAYS either put you down re your looks and then gaslight you or they'll find a mean nickname for you & say that you're just too sensitive.
When I was in school as an "ugly" student, I had teachers who ignored me on purpose when I raised my hand to pick the more attractive students to participate for class points, and people who participated enough got candy at the end of the year. Most students got candy, but I didn't get candy. When my class did presentations, teachers smiled at them and read their facial expressions while listening to the other students perform, but they looked away or down at their desks when I did mine. When teachers took attendance, they sometimes sighed before calling my name, while not doing so for any other student, even the kids who caused trouble. When it came time for photo days (for student cards or for yearbook pictures), the more attractive students got asked if they wanted a retake. The photographer just wanted to be done with me immediately. I also had a picture taken with a group of girls, and friends of friends pointed out that I ruined their otherwise perfect group photo. One day in 10th grade, a friend of mine alerted me that I had a note on the back of my shirt. I picked up the note, which had "Pooface" written on it along with a picture of feces surrounded by flies. I still have no idea who made that note, but I'm over it now. This was 15 years ago.

I’m a 6’4 guy with a very deep voice for my age, and I’ve haven’t gotten any compliments yet. The most complimenting thing that’s been said to me out in public is that I look like a bodyguard. I have a natural poker face and I am average fit for my age, and I get a few head-turns with nothing more. I get even more stares when I’m walking around with my 5 yr old sister. Maybe people just feel intimidated by me? I am a lot taller than most people I pass whilst out in public, and I wouldn’t want to make anybody uncomfortable or feel uneasy. I’m a really gentle and friendly person once you get to know me.
I’ve been called beautiful many times in person and ugly many times online (with pictures I think are better than my current not-so-great one) so idk what to think except I’m usually not photogenic and rarely have posted videos of myself online anywhere. This is partly why I almost never have even tried online dating and prefer meeting people IRL.
I recently learned how to spin silk from my own body. I’ve been having so much fun making doilies and other household ornaments for my friends and family! I have an Etsy store if anyone’s interested!
