This video really impressed me or better yet amazed me. That parrot speech is so clear and the kiss is the exact sound of a human kiss. Aww so cute - I love it. I want a parrot now.
A male parrot does that because he knows the female will lunge at him and possibly give him a nasty bite if she isn't feeling the vibe. If you watch a longer clip of parrot mating rituals, it's basically a repetition of the male suavely sidling up to the female to shoot his shot and then hurrying back to a safe distance over and over until he feels secure that he's not going to get his ass kicked.
It's a sign that this human at least also cares enough to speak in his animal's language. Any animal you sweet talk into spending time around you (usually with food) will eventually come to understand you if you take the time to understand their body language and communication.
Birds are pretty smart and pick up on that fast! We had a budgie when I was a kid, and while she never spoke or made a lot of human-imitating sounds, she picked up quickly that kisses were good things and made smooch noises all the time. The funniest was that she just thought being loud was being happy, so if family members would start having a loud disagreement, she'd be in the other room making kiss noises and happily bobbing her head. 🤣

@@simbellaz yeah, my ex-husband yellow head Amazon would pin at me, that bird hated my guts. what was funny was I was the one whose speech he would copy. like everyday when I'd come home from work I'd say "hi honey, I'm home!" and he started saying that all the time.
How precious! Look how attentive he is being towards his mate, he is laying on that charm thick, in heaps- and if it were me, it would be working- you know, if l had feathers and was a bird. His tiny toe tap is just about the most adorable little thing that l think that l have ever seen. This makes me so happy to watch. Thank you for putting it up for others to appreciate and also an applause for taking such wonderful care of your birds, it shows. And that compliment comes from a woman with more than forty years of my life spent with all different kinds of birds, my Daddy having bought me a pair of Zebra finches from a flea market when l was five because l told him that l would never ever ask for another thing as long as l lived. Well, of course that wasn't true but l would have said whatever it took to be able to take home those chirpy little mesmerizing bringers of joy. I did so love them.
They're great fun for the right owners, but put some real thought into it before getting one and really research the species you want before buying. Dumb birds are pretty and lower maintenance, but not as fun and usually dont learn fun stuff well or even never. The smarter birds not only can do more but also are proportionally higher maintenance. A canary won't care if you ignore it or rehome it as long as its needs are met. Stuff like this ringneck, a larger parrot, a macaw, or a corvid is a much different thing. Some birds can be as smart as a 5+ year old child. Some may live up to 80+ years. Smart birds that dont get enough interaction and mental stimulation can be very psychotic. Birds can also be vindictive and are notorious for not forgiving you if you get on their bad side. And when it wants to sink its claws in you or try to bite your finger off, it not only knows what it's doing, it has been planning on doing it. If you really want a bird to act like this prepare to spend hours interacting with it daily, never act harshly to it even once, and with the really advanced ones it is best if it is not alone very long or often at all. And take lifespan of the bird into account because after they tightly bond with owner(s) they may difficult or impossible to rehome. My ex and I had a blue fronted Amazon. We split up after 8 years. Prior to the split Ajax was a happy bird that talked, sang, did tricks, and liked to cuddle. When I moved out he stopped eating, started screaming all day, and was tearing out his feathers. He was mad at my ex, and would lunge at his face or bite hard enough to draw blood. So he called me to come and get him, which I did, only to experience the same treatment. He was not wanting to accept any outcome that didn't involve us BOTH being there together to play with him in the evening. We ended up having to rehome him to a friend that didn't work and had the time and patience and experience to rehab an enraged and depressed bird because he never got over being royally peeved at us both.
He is absolutely adorable!! Does she talk? Does she like him? He sure seems like a happy bird. You are obviously a great pet parent. I need details about them if you get a chance. I also enjoyed your editing and comments. Great job!!
Since this is a reposted video, I'll offer insights as someone familiar with this species. This is a rather receptive response, so I'd say she likes him. As for the chances of her talking? It is not like she can't talk... they are just as capable and skilled at talking as the males. However, female Indian Ringnecks like these typically are the "quieter" of the two in regard to gregarious human talking. Key point that quieter is in quotation marks... almost no parrot is quiet. YMMV with the content of my post. All birds are individuals. This is just my experience. I have seen a few female human speech chatters, but I've seen far more female birdy chatterers with the occasional words thrown in for spice with this species.
She looks like she's nesting, and the regurgitating is part of the mating process too. My guess is they are most likely mates! 💕 Such sweet babies!! I know females can talk, like someone mentioned, but I have yet to see a female Indian Ringneck talk. Here's some important info..... These birds need tons of attention and interactive play time throughout the day! It does help to have 2 though, but it would be cruel (imo) to leave them alone while being gone all day at work. Plus that almost guarantees behavioral problems that will be hard to break. They also need to be out of the cage during the day and about 10+ hours of sleep in a dark quiet room at night. And definitely a routine!! A strict diet is preferable, one that you make yourself. If you give them all the garbage in the pet store food, it will affect everything, causing behavioral issues and making them harder to train! And trust me, you want to train your bird!! Is that enough info? 😆 I hope that helps someone! If you want a good starter bird that talks, go with a Budgie! It's one of the smallest breeds of parrots and they hold the world record for most spoken words or biggest vocabulary...something like that. Plus they are super cute too!! 🦜
This bird is killing me leaning back and then most cutest ever and that voice notice the little toes you have a special bird got their own little personality 💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛

Lmao😂 That's when I knew he was in😂😂
@@camo2156 or annoyed or angry...... i think
@@simbellaz yeah, my ex-husband yellow head Amazon would pin at me, that bird hated my guts. what was funny was I was the one whose speech he would copy. like everyday when I'd come home from work I'd say "hi honey, I'm home!" and he started saying that all the time.
@@simbellaz When a parrot is excited or interested in something their pupils telescope in and out.
I'm taking notes. Chirp "what ya doing" in a high pitched noise and smash your beak against the females face. Repeatedly.
I absolutely love your comment. Thank you for sharing the love and stories!
As soon as my cat heard , “my baby girl “. She ran up onto my lap for love.❤
She seems to be enchanted by this charming prince, but doesn't speak human (yet) ... 😍❤😍
"Hi BaBy GiRl" , bro I'm laughing so hard, his voice sounded like a child 💀
🤣😋🤣🤣😋🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
the “hi babygirl” was so CUTEEEE😭❤️❤️❤️
It's the accompanying lean back that's hilarious.
Aww she even said "thank you" when he kissed her
So so sweet. They know what love is and they show each other love the same way they've been given love. He's definitely trying to impress her.😊💞
I love this video. That parrot is so awesome. His speech “hello baby girl- what you doing- you thirty”. I want a parrot now🥰🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Me tooooo!!!
I love the posing so much. He's like a JoJo character.
The poses get me every time 😂 *stares into the distance.
I love it when they give each other kisses and lean back like they’re all proud of it 😂
Ты, ещё, долго будешь спать, моя любовь????🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
He is absolutely adorable!! Does she talk? Does she like him? He sure seems like a happy bird. You are obviously a great pet parent. I need details about them if you get a chance.
I also enjoyed your editing and comments. Great job!!
I am really sorry to tell you but this is not their video. This channel took it from someone else.
She said 'thank you' when she got the single kiss
I just ❤ his voice, his poses & his giggle!
This bird is killing me leaning back
and then most cutest ever and that voice notice the little toes you have a special bird got their own little personality 💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛
I loved it when he called her a sweet baby girl, blew kisses and giggled - priceless!
The giggle after he kissed her the first time. Lol!
Hands down funniest thing I've ever heard a parrot "say"
They’re so cute.
Bruh, the usage of "you thirsty" in this context shows mad intelligence, he knows exactly what slang is.
💀
No.
