Seems to me the stratus would be a better pant. Warmth rating is about the same but the stratus is quieter, has wind stopper and seems to be better suited for mid season...Just my thoughts. Great comparison, always look forward to seeing your videos.
I have the midis and the tapered bottoms make it difficult for them to fit over the top of my 13 wide lace up boots. But I do love these pants. Very comfortable and warm enough for most Georgia winter weather with a good baselayer.
Anyone noticing the color difference in the Sitka lines? Last night I wore my equinox pants, fanatic hoody and Stratus vest. All the shades were different. Missouri

Agreed. I was just thinking why would I get the midi when I have stratus and fanatic bibs to go over the equinox.

Since the midi pants are tapered from the knee down. Is there any possibility you could still fit them over the top of your lace up boots?
