Reminder for everyone watching to be *very* careful with these little guys if you like having fingers. They can sometimes snap a fair bit back behind their neck so unless you know exactly what you're doing do *not* pick them up unassisted.
Just found one trying to cross a road near my house, wanted to help but realized it was a snapping turtle.. I like my fingers and am not yet quite as crazy as Luke so uhm Mr. Snappy stayed there. It's Mr. Snappy's road now
@Silver_wind_1987_ my mom did that years ago, too! All I can remember is I was a little kid and we came across a MASSIVE snapping turtle in the road. We had just taken a big Rubbermaid type box of stuff to good will and she got out and ushered him into it. He was seriously so big, we took him across the road and let him out by a pond. He didn't even say thank you 😂😂
What ever will Luke do when Squirtle and Bowser grow up to be that big? 😂 Based on how hands on he is, me thinks Luke should start investing in replaceable wood/mechanical fingers
It’s insanely ironic that I see this because yesterday a caught one bare handed to demonstrate to some kids why you shouldn’t mess with them unless you know what you’re doing.
These guys can lunge forward with astounding lighting speed and far reach. They can also extend & stretch their necks way out. They are super heavy and full of attitude. Very unnerving to deal with. I will only help them if they are in the road or impossibly stuck somewhere and only if I keep a partition between myself and them. I've had one I was trying to herd across the road with a tote and it lunged and knocked me and the person helping me almost off our feet. Their hiss is unearthly. Please stay alert and safe, Luke.
Ah man this reminds me when I was 17. It had rained a TON one summer day and a snapper even bigger than this was walking across our yard. That was scary 😂
I’m no expert, but I think that’s a female snapper. Maybe she left the pond to look for a place to lay eggs, and ended up in the concrete trough accidentally.
I saved a snapping turtle from getting creamed on the highway. Took him and put him on the other side of the road (the direction it was heading). Not 10 seconds after I get to my car, a guy in a truck comes up, grabs the turtle by the tail and tosses it into the back of the truck. He drove away with a bug smile on his face.... Saved the turtle from being crushed, only to become dinner. I felt so bad.
The first time we will ever see fear in his eyes, ironically by the same species as two of his pets
I thought he had two alligator snappers?
@@landondemando7324 I am not sure what type specifically, but he has two snappers of his own.
@@landondemando7324 In that case it's even worse. But at least they aren't as agile with their heads.
Yeah the one he caught in this vid is a common snapper and his are alligator snappers
@@landondemando7324 I did not know that. Good to know.
“Snapppy NO, that’s not a nice face.” 😂😂
Imagine that's the mother of the two turtles
They are alligator snapping turtle amd this was a common snapping turtle so no possible
6*
@@Son_Goku_0 Wdym they are just common snappers
@@Son_Goku_0 He lives in New Hampshire, the nearest wild alligator snapping turtles would probably be in Indiana or Kentucky.
No his pets come from a completely different area
" im gonna let you IM GONNA let you free. " and "snaappyyy no! Thats not a nice face. " 🤣🤣🤣
the turtle went crazy, like something inside him snapped
Something inside of of [him]!
*Banger guitar riff*
His name says it all snapping turtle
Are you a male and do you have kids? (They have to be alive)
Then something snapped, something inside of me.
I didnt care anymore i didnt care if i lived or died.
“A-lot of turtles a lot of fiiEesh” got me rolling
Same 🤣
People be saying Australia animals are nightmares

In my land this kind of animals not exist in nature.

@@rebeccawallentmy mom saved a snapper she used a recycle bin to transport him in and get him to the other side 😂

She's like where are my babies kidnapper 😂
I've never seen Luke so terrified!
Now we know what happens when you feed Bowser baby goldfish 😂
Bro went looking for his 2 brothers
I know they're bloodthirsty, but as long as you're like 4 feet away they can't do anything. Goofy things.
this is the most scared i’ve ever seen you 😭 thanks for treating snappy well though!
prepare for bowser to get even bigger than him
The turtle: ARE YOU RECORDING ME?
That's Bowsers baby daddy probably 💀
Shouldn't have let him go till you got that child support.
Snapping turtles are just all anger and no chill.
He pissed 😂😂. He said put me down sir, right now
The safety squat while holding this beast at arms length.
Luke: saves snapping turtle
Snapping turtle: DEATH TO THOSE WHO DARE TOUCH MEEEE
That’s some angry soup..
The big angry has put fear in you man.
I love how common snapping turtles are the meanest assholes you can come across, but alligator snappers, even wild ones, are pretty docile.
What do you mean that’s not a nice face? That’s a very handsome face. Look at that smile!
I feel like the is the appropriate amount of fear to have while handling a snapping turtle.
Im glad that you helped that cute turtle thanks. #SAVETHETURTLES/TORTOISES
Snapping turtles are filled with pure rage at all times
He was probably expecting a snack.
He's like no put me down you freaky😂
Luke’s face when he said ‘this is amazing’. The sheer fear.
I love snapping turtles so much, so thank you for sharing this! I hope your hands aren’t too badly injured!
Luke' love how you name the animal!! "SNAPPY" THIS IS SOMETHING I DO, too, except I don't record myself! LOL
We need a snappy plushy now
Pov your pets in a few years 😂
What ever will Luke do when Squirtle and Bowser grow up to be that big? 😂 Based on how hands on he is, me thinks Luke should start investing in replaceable wood/mechanical fingers
He woke up and chose violence 😂
That's me in the morning fellas.
All your gym exercise and carrying massive fish tanks up and down your basement has prepared you for this moment.
It’s insanely ironic that I see this because yesterday a caught one bare handed to demonstrate to some kids why you shouldn’t mess with them unless you know what you’re doing.
Luke, did you remember who your first goldfish was, and if you do, is he or she currently alive?

Even without the sound, I could hear the unearthly demonic hissing every time Snappy opened his big giant face 🥰
Imagine thats the snapping turtles that luke freed because of the law💀
Ngl we don’t talk enough about how turtles kept plenty from their prehistoric ancestors. That thing looks like a dinosaur to me 😂
Check out the Cassowary and the Shoebill.
Actual, genuine dinosaurs.

luke is gonna lose some appendage some day mark my words 😂
What have I missed? I’ve not heard about Harold or Jill. I have no absolute idea what I missed.😂😂😂😂
He released those two into his backyard pond!
Man that turtle is aggressive
You can tell the dinosaur was not happy 😂😂😂
Pit bull of turtles.
Snappy pants cousin really gave him a hard time
I think there’s a specific way to carry them so they can’t get you, but I thought that was it.
I'm gonna let you freee, only got two fish in my pocket, I, I, I'm fishin, looking for a fishsnack, heros in a half shelllllllll
Clearly its head movements are overpowering you, and you’re a strong man.
Imagine luke will be dealing 2 of those in the future 😂
if you don't want his claws to cut, you can just lift him by the legs. It is not harmful to large turtles🐢🐢
This turtle chose violence.
Snappy the big meanie that abandoned her eggs in your area
Watch Clints reptile room on proper handling. Put one hand above their tail, and one hand on the stomach scales It can't reach you that way
Bro wasn't happy to be on social media 😂😂
If that dud was in my pond, he would be NOT swimming with the fishes
I heard that apparently if you flip turtles on their back they retreat in their shell
My day could be better if you started to sell duckweed
You should go fishing in your pond that would be a good video
the basement😎
the troughs😶
Reminds me of corbin maxey snappy pants
the snappers..
are coming..
That snapping turtle was trying to move in with you!!!
That could’ve been one of the snapping turtles that you were released
SNAPPY THE GIANT!!!

Are you going to get chickens again?
Mr luke did you know you can breed common snappers and aligator snappers to make a hybrid?
Maybe that's the baby you put in the lake before

When I saw the turtle I thought it was bowser
Expect Bowser and Balthazar to get that big from now
