The organizer booked me and payed me. It was free to the people so I asked if I can put out a tip jar and they said no, we pay you so it is inappropriate to put out a tip jar.
Sandra Beckers the best is to ask :) there is no one rule. But what we do if I am unsure is to keep it the car until I see someone else with a tip jar or if we asked to have one. We even had clients make us a tip jar and we tell them we have one in the car already so it just depends.

Radiant Art Inspirations I have a question when Face painting outside does the cold weather effect how much people come to get face painted like weather of 50 or 60?
@@Officiallynelsonrivera it can of course, if people are not use to that weather (thinking it is too cold) then you will not get the same flow as the summer time, BUT if people are use to that kind of weather (like if you are from up north) Then it wont matter too much. The biggest thing is have a really attractive set up to attract your audience.

I got the tip jar, and the motion sensor is above the jar, and there's no way to direct it, and it activated even if there's movement NEXT TO the tip jar. Ugh, huge manufacturing flaw.

As to start on social media, open it up with your business name and start posting pictures of your work. It doesn't need to be great, but you want to get pictures of smiling kids you have painted. The smile on a child makes any parent's heart melt. To avoid being nervous it really just takes practices and feeling confident with your work. YOU GOT THIS..!!
