    In this video we compare:
    1) Boom extension (outreach)
    2) Lifting height
    3) Lifting capacity
    4) Weight
    5) Visibility
    6) Controls
    7) Frame
    8) Steering system
    9) Traction
    10) Manoeuvrability (handling)
    11) Speed
    12) Fuel consumption
    13) Tire wear
    14) Operational time
    15) Common applications
    16) Hydraulic connection
    17) Attachments

Have owned a S525 T for 3 years now with almost 800 engine hours I have some comments about it.
The good: Versatility - We have only one attachment - silage forks with grabber, bet we do all kinds of work, move silage bales, pull out big rocks stuck in ground with no effort to put in whatsoever, use it as platform to lift higher (telescopic boom +) to reach for and cut down tree branches, work the soil in your home small garden, and any other lifting needs (the longer you have the machine the more uses you find for her.
Mobility - Operating this machine is very pleasant you can drive through such tight spaces, that is just amazing. I am sure that it wouldn't be possible with skid steer. The turning is so smooth. Of course there is no additional tire wearing oppose to skid steer and doesn't damage the ground, lawn or whatever, when making turns.
Offroad - You basically can't get stuck anywhere, if the 4wd fails, just use the telescopic boom to help you get out of mud.
Precision - This of course highly depends on how used to vehicle you are, but the hydraulic drivetrain lets you can start driving very very slowly if you have a load that needs to handled with extra care that is just perfect.
Cabin - Getting in and out is super easy and can be done one handed in just a swing (not sure whether you can do it with no hands), can reach most used controls with just wrist movement, have enough leg room (I'm 186cm tall)
    The Bad:
Despite all the good things it lacks basic structural strength and have poorly designed parts:
    1. With silage forks it can penetrate itselfs front tires (done it by accident... twice... :D)
    2. When lifting too heavy of load and back of the machine starts to lift, if you lower it back too fast (almost drop it) you can have a crack in your front side of the machine at the pivoting point, and the hydraulic oil started to leak through that crack (the pivot point mechanism is wealded to an hydraulic oil tank), so we had to weld that crack to prevent from oil leaked at least and braking the machine in 2 halfs in worst case scenario
    3. The lifting power of the boom is great but unfortunately it can lift more than it can withstand.the double crossbeams of where the one of main lifting cylinders is attached have broke off already 3 times.
    4. With the structure it has I would't recommend putting additional weights on the back of machine.

I like the protection you get in a skid steer when dealing with demolition or lot clearing. If you back into something with a Bobcat or Cat loader you don't have to worry about radiator damage.

Not sure who you have running skid steers. I've operated many and never stop tires to turn unless I am in an extremely tight space. It creates too much tire wear.
I will admit that in some applications a machine like this one would be better.
One would have to sit and think about what they want and need out of a machine and chose accordingly.

+George Taphorn We have stressed what are the plus of our machine compared with a real skid steer with same power and similar total weight. Obviously we have use situation (like steering in very tight space) in which our best performances can easily understand by anyone.
A skilled skid steer operator probably must follow your advice: "sit and think about what they want and need out of a machine and choose accordingly" :)
P.s.: I think it must not be underestimated the difference in term of "learning curve": MultiOne is much more easy to use than many other similar solutions.

Skid steers dont make that mutch of a mess and skd steers are becoming better every year makeing them more usefull heck the bobcat s70 wich is one of the first loaders can fit through tight spaces and a jcb teleloader wich is a skid steer with a extending boom could fill in for harder to reach areas bobcat skid steers have an all wheel mode now there wheels can turn and caterpillar has a remote controll one wich can put the operator out of harms way jon deere can lift more than 3 tons and bobcat skid steers are extremely usefull so if you want to have a vs then do modern day skid steer tech
