It's very hard to choose for me, Alexander Siddit was very good at playing a more sadistic Ra's than Matt Nable, who played him more stoic. I really liked both of their performances... and visually, they were also both great, I really can't complain about anything. But when it comes to Nyssa Al Ghul, it's easy; I like the "Gotham" very way more. (love Arrow Talia though, great chara)
The whole story arc with this guy had me mentioning upon watching it for the first time "Echoes of Dark Empire" regarding the Star Wars comic book line by the title "Dark Empire"; and how the storylines were similar, very similar indeed.
What he is is a Mafia Don in a very literal sense; and the title of "demon's head" sure fits his role as a gangster to a T; as demons are basically really "gangster angels"... *of course* his children would've been raised badly, ethically-speaking.

Well,Liam`s performance is what made Matt`s performance possible.Liam got Ra`s sense of extreme justice and talent for deception down pat whilst Matt better portrayed Ra`s religious nature and necessary evil mindset imho.It also helped that Matt portrayed Ra`s as the acting leader of The League of Assassins far more than Liam ever got the chance to.
