I went out to salvage for the first time and I couldn't figure out that you have to switch into a whole other scanning mode by pressing V, and of the multiple guides I watched literally not one of them mentioned that. Was really nice to see he mentioned that in this video. It's little stuff like that that can really tank a newbies experience.
Been watching a few of your videos now and they are all full of great advice and information , Subscribed! Recently bought the Vulture and first time out found a 10K ,24k & 26k. only had 1 salvaging head on it but as i took one off and put it on the fortune CIG gave me and forgot to put it back on the Vulture.
I like my Fortune, only been out with it once but I am looking forward to buying a Vulture. I hope that there's enough pros/cons between the two that they are both enjoyable without a clear "winner". Think I'll spend my current money on a Prospector though. Then I'll be able to do all the industrial loops to diversify my game time.
@@mrJMD Yeah i only took the Fortune out once as i like the Vulture.i can bring back around 35 scu with it. Cockpit on the Vulture reminds me of a farming vehicle which i love. I actually bought the prospector before the vulture and i hardly use it now.I used to love the mining back in the day when quantanium was easier (stopped playing for a few versions ) It's hauling with the Taurus and salvaging with the vulture for me now.I'll keep the prospector for a while so i don't regret melting it.
I routinely get 39 (3 filler station loads) But it means I gotta EVA to the back to load. Usually do the entire right side off grid first then the middle off+on grid and then I take the last 8 out to load back to front once I have them all.
So the best money making method in 4.0.1 is actually Crusader Hauling!!! Just the 6 hauling contracts from Seraphim to Orison and then one 34k contract and a 50k contract from Orison to Seraphim. That gives you 384k aEUC per run and you can do it 3 times/hour easily and everything fits in a Max Freelancer you can rent for 90k/day. Fastest method since AI is broken atm and you cant do vaughn missions without Meta ships
when i do my salvage i also go to belt. bc you can find 890j and c2 there too. rs 2600 is c2 and 3600 was 890j and then i leave vulture there and backspace and got marker and get cargo ship and jump back there. now unfortunately stopping qt is so inaccurate that you need to drive way too much. but before that it was like. 100-500km accurate so not too much driving.
Love this currently on the ground for money as I’m new to the game hit a million last night the c1 first then the vulture will be mine love the video bud 🤌🏻
Just the other day I found a 3000. Normally I would've ignored it, but I was curious. Turned out to be an 890 Jump. No cargo, but still, plenty of scraping. Also, I have seen panels as 7000, but that's the only number I've seen defy the "2000" rule.
Love your video's but when you show where to buy ship parts you should mention every place you can buy that particular ship part. People start in all parts of both systems not just at crusader. Keep up the good work.
Love your content, question does anyone know how to gimbal your salvage arm to your head tracker so that you only have to look to move the salvage arms? Reason is that the limiting factor is fuel for the vulture, it eats through hydrogen. And when i use it in my Polaris, i find myself having to go to refuel the vulture a lot. I use a HOTAS and the joystick still has authority over the yaw axis.
Hey can you answer me a questio nwith the beam eytracker ? I set up everythign like in your video but my opentrack dont recognize the eye tracking but in the test it works fine so somethings wrong with my opentrack. So in beam itself it works fine just not in opentrack
It's difficult to really tell what's wrong but I'm going to take my best guess. If you open opentrack, on the left hand side you'll see the drop down that says input. Select Eyeware Beam under it. Next under the output drop down it should say freetrack 2.0 then the only other thing I can think about is don't forget to hit Start on opentrack software. And make sure when you open Beam eye tracker that the Gaming Extensions is toggled on. Like I said it's difficult to troubleshoot because I can't look at it myself but if you got everything perfect like I mentioned it should work otherwise I would try reinstalling. I bet it's super frustrating.
Why is everyone so positive, stoping at 11gm wont bring you to the asteroid field every time xD its a circulating solar system, everything circles the sun at different speeds, that asteroid field isnt at CRU L3 all the time!

I like the way you include detail of key presses and directions which many other content creators omit. Thanks.

Using the tractor to pull all the panels close together is such a good idea! Im definitely doing that from now on
Except they rubber band back into place
salvage guy here but missed some things since 3.18, watched video forgot to leave like. Came back like and comment. Nice job!
Thank you legend

Good guide. Thanks for the info man.
Vulture is the best !
I can gather up to 37 SCU (24 in the back and 13 in the filler station). Its a bit tricky but you can do it.

Not worth time spent on eva...33 in without leaving ship
@@DocBlacker it takes like 5 minutes if anything. Usually I spend the longest amount of time waiting on the boxes to dispense

Excellent tutorial buddy!
Awesome guide, thanks
always releasing great guides, thank you sir!
I always run my Vulture into the Aaron belt and grab some RMC if I get low on money. Great ship.

@ yes! I always hit the 890J just around 32.9GM from Arccorp heading towards Crusader
I mean yes this guide is great.... Only if the damn elevator doors would work or if Ican see my damn inventory. Yup game is still glitchy
With a full cargo bay and a full hopper, you should return with 38 boxes of RMC.
Nice. Dankie

i had no idea the Vulture got so bright! lol
I do like to change the vibrancy of my thumbnails to 100%😂 trying to stand out among all the other videos

I cannot even get off pyro gateway, ships wont come up.
Where do you buy these ships???
