My only criticism with the whole show is how Mostert and Kriel didn't get their moment, Mosters had huge games, vs scotland, vs NZ, the tackles he put on with PSTD. And Kriel played the best rugby of his entire career, during a time everyone was worried with AM being injured.

Big Jim, our brother from across the oceans. I just love how you get us, SAs if you don’t know us, are easy to dislike. What makes it worse is we don’t really care what others think. Imperfectly perfect, chaotically organized, bragadociously humble. I have watched this series, usually through tears, but still looked forward to every one of your reviews. Don’t pass by again without stopping anywhere you want for some wine, a chat or a braai. Our favorite voice out there along with Eggchasers. Hope your lad recovers soon and the family are well.

Best rugby I’ve every watched. Impossible to sustain that level, it will be how they deal with being beaten in games. And take nothing away from France, Ireland, England and All Blacks.

I think Sam Cane took the tackle upright, straight legs which makes it dangerous and there was a lot of talk around this, Siya clearly bent his legs, this is the difference between red and yellow cards. Felix was incredible, I am nervous with him no longer being with the Boks. Loved Jacques speach too, wonderful addition to the amazing series. There are few non South Africans who understood the prase "hulle weet nie wat ons weet nie", you are the only one who I have seen get it spot on. It's the heart of a South African, can't isn't in our vocabulary...very impressive, well done! Thank you Jim, what a road it has been, look forward to you visiting SA for some of the big games.

There has never been a coach in the history of rugby like Rassie, who really knows how to get the best out of a group of players and forging their mindset for the game. In 2018 and early 2019, not a lot of people thought that there is back to back RWC wins ahead for the Springboks.

Love your work Jim. Interesting reaction from Ardie as you shared. As proud as I am about being South African and this documentary, I think there is some real value for the entire rugby world in it. And maybe from an insider's perspective it isn't as clear but hearing yours and a few others, it becomes more so. Thanks and looking forward to your chats with the guys based in Japan.

Jim, I'm not sure if you've seen it but Whistleblowers is a really good documentary as well. I know it's on Rugbypass TV but it really provides amazing insight and perspective of the referees during the 2023 World Cup. It reminded me a lot of Chasing the Sun.

Thanks for the synopsis throughout the series Jim. It kind of takes a blokes bloke to properly understand the nuances behind this team and their psyche. You get it. All the best for your lad - I’ve got 4 boys so understand!

Was Bongi deliberately taken out in the 3rd minute to nullify our scrums and lineouts? If that was the plan, it back-fired, because Deon Fourie had an absolutely amazing game - playing out of position with an injured shoulder.

Thank you for sharing our story. I know we have some terrible fans, but at the end of the day saffas are just a proud nation and you will find that most south africans are kind and friendly. Thank you Rassie ❤

    Enjoyed your reviews!
Sam Caine was not an inch out. More like a foot out from a good tackle. Siya was bent over double in his tackle.
