@@patrickgardner9592lane Hutson will be elite, however habs fan do overrate him. People point out his ppg and forget he played in one of the best college offenses ever assembled
Idk for me there's only like 10-12 superstars while more franchise centers, wingers or defenseman, Don't mean just one franchise player bc that's a superstar.
faber should AT LEAST move up to elite. he was one of 2 players who played all 82 games on the wild (marco rossi being the other) while playing insane minutes (over 30 minutes on a couple of nights). he led the wild in TOI/game. not only can he eat minutes, he can run the power play, kill penalties, and looks like he's gonna be able to score, too. i can count on one hand the number of defensive mistakes i saw him make the whole season, his defensive game is already immaculate at such a young age. without connor bedard also in his rookie season, faber easily wins the calder last season (though bedard probably still deserved to win it). on top of that, he's captain material and i'm certain he'll wear the C on the wild someday. doing all that as a rookie is insane. his work ethic is also strong so i don't see any reason why he won't continue to get better. did i mention he played the last two months of the season with fractured ribs?
I do think McT has the potential for elite but I actually don't mind the ranking, as a Ducks fan many people glossed over his defensive woes and penalty troubles last year, and he's got to show the ability to drive a line over the course of a full year like he did early on carrying Vatrano and Strome
I'm a huge ducks fan, but lets pump the brakes and wait until he really breaks out. Last year he had flashes but he also had really quiet stretches where he was playing horrendously at both ends. Definitely has things to prove this season.
No Owen Zellweger on this list? He may be a bit undersized but don't sleep on that kid! I get it though, don't want the Ducks prospects to take over the board. 😉
@@sammonkman9739most of these players are too early to tell though, so far demidov is producing at a similar rate to michkov in the KHL, they’re very similar in point production I think they should both be in the same tier
He should. At the bottom lol. No but being serious. He has been a better prospect so far offensively then guys like Quinn Hughes Cale Makar Adam Fox. This dosen't mean because their college stats r good that they will be in the NHL. But it does mean Lane Hutson has a higher celling then they did. And also a lower floor.
Ok biased jackets fan here. I don’t see how Celebrini is that much higher than Fantilli. Both had very similar NCAA stats and Celebrini (yes he is 8 months younger) was on the best team in College Hockey. I get why Celebrini has a higher ceiling but I don’t see how he’s much ahead of Fantilli in the Bedard column. I also think Fantilli has a better 2 way game. Also Jiricek was awful in his second season, I think he’s been doing so bad because his skating is absolutely horrible. If he can improve on that, I think he should be in the Very Good.
I understand that Hendrix Lapierre is too good for a list like this so that’s why he wasn’t included

I think you should switch the terms Superstar and Franchise. Franchise players have higher value in my book than superstar 😜

Peterka at bottom tier is criminal

Carlsson = Superstar
@@soysauce76 superstar agreed
Crazy that Cooley got his 4th goal of the season in January and still finished with 20 goals
Mctavish should be elite and same with Hutson. Demidov should be superstar but as a sharks fan I like this list.

This video makes the wait for the new Tawk Tuah podcast that much easier great job Michael!
I was so bummed when laf wasn’t on here but Peterka was lmao. The ending hyped me up 😂 ur the man mike
Yo Mike can you do something like this but tier list every teams best prospect
there could be an argument for eklund in elite if everything goes right
i would put him in elite 45 points on that team i bet some of the elite players would not have done that on that absolute dog shit team
The sharks future is so bright
Hope their old core of Marleau, Thornton, and Pavelski can get official roles in the organisation so they can still have that chance at the cup ring
Indeed!
Id hope so yall have sucked for a while now
Leo should be on top
What's your evaluation of zellweger ?
