- What quickly starts out to be one of our favorite off road parks on the east coast, quickly turns into an unforgettable trail ride! Not only does our Jeep Wrangler break down in the middle of the trail, but once we find and fix the problem with our Jeep, we head straight to the "trail" called Lion's Den...where we immediately find out why it's considered the hardest trail in the park as we watch a Toyota truck get wrecked trying to rock crawl it!

Lion’s Den is my favorite wheeling trail that is still open to ride (non-comp). Just wait a few years until that stump rots and breaks away, it will be a paved road, compared to what it is now.

If y'all were to start a cj7 build, can i pick your brain. the purpose will be an all around driver and above average trail rig. I have some choices, I'm planning full width One tons, corp 14/dana 60. Should I go leave springs, 4link with coil overs, triangulated 4 link? Big block, or small block, either will be FI, manual or auto? Finally how much lift. Thanks Do you have any suggestions going forward?

I don't know (I wasn't there), but it seems the Toyota guy was either not being spotted correctly, not spotted at all, not listening to the spotter, or too many spotters driving him crazy; which one was it?

1. Why have a spotter if drivers don’t look at them?
2. Why with everyone behind the Toyota they didn’t they say something like back up so you don’t mess up your bed and teal gate? It could have been avoided. I wouldn’t want to off-road with people like them.
FYI sxs are better at these parks.

Us Toyota guys don't care about body damage. In my area, the trails would never exist if it wasn't for Toyotas making it through and clearing the way for jeeps.
The dude drove the Toyota like I drive my RC crawler. Zero eff's given because I am not in it and if I roll it Im not gunna die. Except he was in the truck.
That was painful to watch the Toyota losing all of its straight panels. It does make me wonder though, why in the US you keep the bed on rigs like that instead of going a custom flat tray? Here in Australia, more than half the trucks have trays or service bodies instead of the factory bed.

So does anyone else not understand why the guy that grabbed the tailgate after it folded didn’t drop the tailgate down before it ripped the corner off?
If he would have dropped the gate before, the bedside would have just kind of folded in slightly leaving the tailgate intact.
Then he could just pull the bedside out so the gate could close again.
Only a slight Yota tailgate and body panels - modification. Gives it; 0:10 - custom character.
If you’re worried about body damage, you’re wheeling the wrong vehicle.. You build them to go where you want, not to look good..

That fuel pump circuit terminal always overheats and melts,loose pin tension bet its circuit N14 fuel pump return circuit VT/BU color wire.In a pinch why not just by pass that terminal and solder the wire together.I have seen this so many times.the new 23/24 Jeep Grand Cherokee L 3.6 has the same problem loose pin tension develops into overheated terminals from the factory.
Ya we ended up cutting the wires and getting rid of the box. Been running great since
