As a native Spanish speaker this beginner lesson was entertaining to watch, One thing I noticed about Italian is that it shares a lot of the same lexicon, And some of the verb endings were the same as in Spanish so for me it was easier to understand compared to someone who doesn't speak Spanish as their native language, But italian is language I'd like to learn
Mike was definitely a rocker in his youth!

I watch Easy German for 3 years now and finally becoming advanced in german. I am from Brazil. The only italian I saw in my life was this 6 episodes of super easy italian and I find so funny that I can alread understand so much because it is really similar to portuguese. But in the easy german videos it took me months to start understanding something haha

Sto imparando a parlare litaliano da poco sono un principiante nella lingua italiana ma poso dirti che: il mio nome e Nolan, sono messicano, ho cinquentaedue anni, sono sposato, ho tre figli è sono cuoco in un ristorante è mi piace molto giocare a sccachi. No parlo bene l'italiano ma vorrei parlare l'italiano come un madrelingua tra quattro anni, la lingua italiana è molto divertente è facile da imparare penso che parlare più di una lingua è molto importante negli tutti li aspetti, per esempio, nel turismo, in politica, negli affari, gastronomía è altri. Dall'italia ho sentito parlare dell'insegnante Enio Morricone, Susana Rigacci, Paganini, Mario Puzzo è tanti altri ma non conosco l'italia 😞. E il mio sogno conoscere la tua cittá un giorno. Due to the fact that the Sardinians speak a completely different language, their 'Italian is learned through the school, with a good wording, a simple phrasebook and a good pronunciation.

It depends on the context: if you mean in this precise moment, you can say either 'Mike sta mangiando un mandarino' or 'Mike mangia un mandarino'. 😊

Per lo meno nel futuro suppositivo è molto d'uso:
Q "Matteo, cosa fa?" R "Non lo so; starà leggendo un libro."
Futuro semplice invece:
"Domani, mentre tu ancora dormi, starò andando già al lavoro."
Così? Perché no? Mi sembra che sia anche possibile.
Imperfetto definitivamente si può: "Stavo leggendo un libro."

Could someone explain: Why "Mike sta dormendo" etcetera, instead of "Mike è dormendo" etcetera. Why use "stare" instead of "essere"??? They both translate the same.
'Mike sta dormendo' is correct, whilst 'Mike è dormendo' is incorrect. 😊
@@EasyItalian I understand, but we are using a verb (stare) which translates as "stay, sit" in place of the verb "essere" (to be). I was asking why we use stare instead of essere. I use stare when studying and trying to communicate with locals, I just do not know why?

Love your videos but am confused about reflexive pronouns. In this video you say “ci vediamo” and the translation is “we’ll see you”. Shouldn’t it be vi instead of ci? Do any of your videos address this? Thx.
Hi Mary. My name is Emanuele and I'm italian. Do not focus on literal translation: "ci vediamo" literaly means "We see each other" and it is in present tense (but with future meaning).

That heavy Roman accent is not standard Italian... Sta cuscinando instead of cucinando for example is heavily incorrect 🤔 she has a much better accent even though she seems to be a foreigner
