I really like the voices on this keyboard, design is optimistic as well. The fact they've combined Drawbar, modulation and Pitch into the joystick is great too.
It would be great if you would produce a video on how to set up your EK50 to take advantage of all the available settings. Jeremy please consider.

Jeremy, I have been exploring keyboards with you, looking for the one that would suit me best in my circumstances, and I chose this one. I ordered it this morning. Your reviews are very helpful. I used to have a Gulbransen Rialto II Theater organ but I am now living in a place that is much too small for that. This Korg EK-50 fits, plus it can travel with me. Thank you so much.

The EK-50 is basically a replacement and successor of Micro Arranger
This keyboard sounds the same as the Korg Pa50 keyboard, but the features are still complete on the Korg Pa50, I am a blind person who has been playing with the Korg Pa50 keyboard for a long time, I prefer the Korg Pa50 SD keyboard, I hope the Korg PA50 SD keyboard will be produced again by the Korg company

I like this keyboard a lot and I am about to buy it...but I am a singer and I wish I could use a mic with it. It has a line in though, could this mean that I could plug in a mic and use it like an audio source? Have you ever tried something like that? Hi Jeremy, have been watching your videos for some time now , and have found them very useful. Have been looking for keyboard with all the features I want especially one where you can have independent voices on the melody end without them being layered, this keyboard seems to be the one for me as yamaha in a 61 key is way to expensive at $1500 Australian compared to the EK 50 selling for $699 and has the other features I want. Hello Jeremy. Iam from Portugal. I had this keyboard at home. Iam na entermediate/profissional keyboard player. I bought the ek50 to use as my second keyboard. But, the less of some features, take me to turn back the ek50 to the store ande buy the Korg pa600. The pa600 is amazing in terms of features and other things. The question is, my ears tells me that the korg ek50 has a better sounds, with more realism and more Bright sound. But, everyone tells me that de pa600 has better sounds, with the rx and dnc. So, wath do you think about that? The sound of my pa600 seems to be too much close, not open Bright sounds. If i avaluate the both with closed eyes, i will tell that the ek50 is best :) understand me? have I to change the equlization of pa600?

Congrats! EK50 sounds are more processed for ready to play from factory. PA600 starts with a dry voice so you can use effects to get the sound you want.

Hi Jeremy. I’m a guitar player and not a keyboard player. I only play keyboard by ear although I can read music .... slowly! With other keyboards I have used the 1 2 3 finger chord function to play chords. I would like another one to make simple backing tracks and was looking at the Casio but these seems like a better buy. What do you think for what I want? Your advice would be appreciated....your videos are really good.
Wow.. Killer Korg sounds at an affordable price! I was very close to getting the PA600SG but I finally decided that I prefer more of the sounds from the Roland BK5. Still I do miss some of the Korg sounds. This could well be an affordable option. :)

The "fill in" in this keybord is terrible. Unless you hit the fillin button on 1, it sounds like a terrible drummer been drunk. Its loud and out of rythm. Korg need to talk to a drummer to fix this.

Awesome demo Jeremy!! Does it have a suitable "JUMP" sound? Just curious before I buy one. I played a KORG POLY 800 in the 80's when they first came out and program #75 was Perfect for the "REBEL YELL" verse / section: "I walk the walls with you Babe, a thousand miles, for you...…. Your vids have a been a great help. Can I assume that these low/mid range arrangers can also be attached to a PC for enhancement/additions? i.e. played through PC/software?
Mark BC it depends if it has a MIDI Port or a USB Type B port (the same port used on printers).

Nice review,im looking for a "upstairs keyboard" to put in the bedroom,busted my knee&can't make it downstairs to get to the "music room" where my keyboards&daw is so im looking for something to keep my fingers busy,gota play everyday ya know!,use it or loose it! I have to say this korg is probably the best sounding compared to the Yamaha,roland&casio&your demos have kinda convinced me on the korg. I know korg builds tanks so reliability&durability isnt a question( gig'd a poly six for years&the only thing that hurt that was a van wreck)& the zounds are amazing for this class of keyboard so im sold,time to convince the wife now...lol.... thanks man!!
I have a Psr EW400 and am a beginner. Have you any ifo on how to get the rich, deep sounds set up. Even with the 4 registrations you can program. I don't know what to put in them. Thanks

Hi Jeremy, is it true that the EK 50 can only store 10 setlists internally and just the whole set as backup on a usb drive? That makes it quite impossible to use this keyboard for many songs.

Sounds are better in the Casio. Korg is easier to use and it has a better keybed.

Hello, Jeremy! Got this one, but I just discovered it has a problem, or mebbe it's just me. When activate the split function, on the lower part there's a chorus effect that I couldn't erase. Do you know how can I get it off? Every single voice you set on this part gets the same effect and it really bothers me. Hope you can help about this. Thank you

the psr-sx 700 and the pa-700 sells for 2000.00 in Canada, wich I find to expensive. I also look at the pa300 but it is a little old.
