I conquered Koholint Island once already as a child back in 1995. Now it's finally time to return ❤
This was always one of the most detailed, beautiful, and atmospheric Zelda games. And now the masterpiece has been made even more amazing!

thank you Nintendo for releasing Link's Awakening today ^^ I bought a copy of the game at my local store. I love this game, how it plays and the way it looks. I'm in my mid 40's and I never played the original Link's Awakening on GBC when I was younger so the 2019 Switch version is brand new to me. Thank you again Nintendo, from a happy customer.
This game has got me wanting a full on sequel to "A Link to the Past" made in the original top down aspect like this game is, but with today's graphics. Like a full new production in this style but kicked up a notch and longer and more epic. I would like that more than a new 3D Zelda.... Another thought. Super Metroid 2 Switch. 2D, but with today's graphics. My God. I would literally show up at Nintendo Headquarters and dump a bucket of money on their doorstep just off of that news.

This game is just one big Nintendo reference, I get Mario Kirby and Yoshi, but Richard from "for the frog the bell tolls?!" That's awesome!
For the Frog the Bell Tolls was the spiritual prequel to Link's Awakening. If it hadn't existed they never would have attempted a Zelda title on the GameBoy.

You know that link's awakening was supoused to be part of a trilogy featuring the same link in three different adventures but it was never done, and considering that nintendo just brought back this game, I see it could be a great oportunity to introduce the sequels to this game.

Picked up a copy today. Popped the cartridge in and boom, I was playing in seconds. No massive downloads or day one patches. No begging for my credit card. No silly Uplay or Bethesda accounts required. No pushing microtransactions in my face. No game breaking bugs...... *JUST FUN!*
I may be a PS4 gamer at heart, but that gold Nintendo seal of approval still means as much now as it did in 1985.
