My father-in-law is from Tolima (Espinal), so when we go to visit his family there we drive the extra 20 minutes to La Chamba and see the town and the Magdalena river. It is amazing to see the ceramic skills that families have passed down for generations. It's hard to fly the dishes back home without breakage, but much cheaper than trying to buy them in the US.
