Hello and thank you for this video. I just love to upcycle clothes and your tip for using cut-out seams as a guide on how long strips we need to use is SO USEFUL! ♥ I always throw away those seams and then use measure tape to get the size of the needed fabric strip. Your way is more simple.
came across your nice tutorial while searching for ways to make some of my son's tshirts bigger as he grows. widening is possible but now i have to figure on making them longer too.
You're a small person. I'm from the round people group. Tshirts often are on sale, or cheap at yard sales. I want to know how to cut them apart and draft a pattern for my size. Thanks.
I wouldn't have the extra fabric go through a long sleeve cuff, instead I would probably end the extra fabric in a point right before the cuff. Does that make sense?

Do you do alter for other people? I have a shirt that I bought 3 sizes too small that I would like made bigger and I don't sew. Can you help or refer?
I do not alter for other people. Check near you for a local alteration shop

Glad you think so!
tearing down my brand new merch tshirt rn bc only small size is left 🤪
I have a question, what if you have a blouse with long sleeves?
I wouldn't have the extra fabric go through a long sleeve cuff, instead I would probably end the extra fabric in a point right before the cuff. Does that make sense?
@@HeatherHandmade Ah thank you yes it does make sense :)
I was hoping to see how you put together the sleeves with the extra fabric...
Like how I sewed the bottom of the sleeves?
