Finally I found a tutorial that explains this so well and you went slow so that I could actually follow it. Thank you for explaining this in detail and slowly!
Because of this sweet tutoring I SUBCRIBED. I'm old lady and long time struggle with thing like this but today I follow and finally make it. Thanks a lot.
This. This right here. Such an AMAZING tutorial! I've been crocheting for over 25 years and I have always struggled with circles. But not anymore, all thanks to you 🥰
I've collected yarn, T-shirt material, books, hooks, and watched more than enough crochet tutorials to last a lifetime. This morning, I sat and watched this video, and I"m pretty sure your explanation and example is finally the teaching style that is going to work for me. I'd all but given up until I saw this. When you flip the project over to ensure there is a V, that helped a great deal. Working slowly, and explaining as you go is a tremendous help. So grateful for this video. I'm getting closer to older every day, and to learn how to crochet rag rugs has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I'm off to press the subscribe and like buttons! THANK YOU, JULIE!
I’ve been crocheting for over 50 years and am SO happy to learn new techniques from talented young people like you. Thank you so much! I tried it and it worked great for me. New subscriber. XO
Blessing you for your excellent delivery. I have struggled with circles because no one else has taken the time to speak as clearly and slowly as you. I can go back and make circles 🎉 Thank you.
Thank you for explaining so nicely. I will follow-up all your videos. The way you closed the circle in the first row is something I haven't seen before. Can't wait to try it. Thank you
Darling Julia, I am in the midst of following your instructions on the perfect circle. I know this circle is PERFECT because, you my dear are the PERFECT educator. I am so grateful 🙏 💛, that you have given us (the masses), your precious time and knowledge to share this with us. I know we are not saving the world, but, when someone, as myself, and lots of others, want to learn something, to achieve it is priceless. You are special 💖. Hugs and hugs from Sherie Rodrigues from Australia
@@CrochetwithJulia Oh Julia, guess what, I've done it. Thank you, thank you. You are gorgeous. I'm 71, and need to be shown, in person, but you are a great teacher. I am on to my 3rd basket. I keep telling people how clever I am. Lol, all because of you. I thought it was fantastic, the info about not doing the increase over the previous increase. You are a wealth of knowledge. Woo hoo. Love you teach. Hugs from Sherie.😁❤🧡💜🤗😚
I’m 14, and I started crocheting 2 years ago when I was 12. This video is a life changer because it is so clear and well paced! Thank you for helping me! You earned a follower
Good, clear, camera work. It's great that you pause with your hands out of the way to show what has been done. PLUS, making stitches into a different part of the stitch below shows how to create a beautiful, smooth, fabric. Wow! I am newly subscribed and will go back and look at your older videos. Well done!
Finally a very complete tutorial that explains it all, even how to finish it! I don't know if I will be able to do it but your explanation is very good!
I have GOT to try this! None of the other techniques are truly seamless! Question: if doing hdc or larger, do you still work your stitches through the the 2 middle strands of the stitch in the previous round; or do you work it through the top loops only as normal? Thanks!
Sometimes I think that I make my viewers to suffer😅because it's very slowly. But on the other hand those who don't need such detailed and slow explanations, can just watch only those parts that they need😊 But for beginners such format would be more helpful 😊
Thank you for showing me how to crochet a perfect circle. The diameter of the piece I made is 50 cm and is made with 2.5 cm cotton binding and I love it. Your instructions really simplify this technique :🌙
Thank u sooooo much. Well explained. Keep up the great teachings. Not many tutorial teachers explain it as thorough as you have. Will be following you. Excited about doing my first perfect circle. 🤩
I have watched (and used) many, many crochet tutorials. Your tutorials are hands down the very best, most thorough, easiest to follow I've ever seen. Thank you!
❤i like the way you explain it. Now i can make my oreo bag. My sister buy t shirt yarn for me. She already made her oreo bag. Me not because i watch so many tutorial i dont understand. So this video is the good one.. thank you. Good bless your hand..❤ good luck to evey beginners like me.....
Thank you, I have undone my Disney crochet bambi basket 8-9 times & I needed this help ..very helpful and clear upload.,thank you. I am using the Zpaghetti yarn for my project 🥰 Liked & subscribed.
Your method is just perfect. I just tested and the ends of the rows are clean, there are absolutely no unsightly demarcations. However, with a fine cotton yarn (3/4 hook), it takes 20 minutes to make a row of 50 stitches instead of 5 minutes. But this is the small price to pay for a beautiful creation. Thank you for your video 😊
I absolutely love your style of teaching and you have me extremely excited about learning this technique. You can bet that I’ll be subscribing and I’m so happy I’ve found out 💜💜💜
This is a fantastic video thank you! If i want to use this circle as a base for a basket, how would i start the walls of the basket once ive finished the circle? Would i just start crocheting into the stitches rather than the V's?
If you have finished your circle and cut the yarn, just open my video 'How to crochet a basket with T-shirt yarn || Check mark pattern || 2 ways to join a row' and starting from the 44th minute of the video I show how insert a hook when you start crocheting the walls of the basket. So just take new yarn, insert your hook under those stitches that I show in the video, hook new yarn, take a loop, then hook the yarn again and push it through the loop. And this will be your first stitch of the walls.
I love your tutorials! Please do one on a project I'm having trouble with getting started: magic ring of 10 sc, a round of dc and hdc in each stitch (20 st), and then continuing in 2dc -1dc (30 st) and increasing each round as usual until there are a total of 210 stitches around.
this is the kind of tutorial I am looking for, unlike with other vids, it will show the steps but not verbally, so it is hard for me to follow.Good I found your page ❤ new subscriber here 😊
First: make sure that you add one more single crochet between increases in every next row (so for example in the 18th row you will have 16 single crochet between increases) Second: make sure that you don't make an increase above an increase. Third: make sure not to make your stitches too tight And also if it bends just a little, it can be fixed in the end when you do wet-heat treatment and put some press on it for several hours
@@CrochetwithJulia Firstly thanks so much for your reply... Have followed all the points you mentioned... Maybe my tension for each stitch is not consistent. I will check out the wet hot treatment....
Okay, I appreciate your video... but I would use the next size up the hook you are struggling with. The work makes it easy, I think Otherwise, I like the way u make the seamless lines for the rows without the stitch marker.. love tee yarn!❤
